This was not at all boring Marion. It was wonderful! I love when you go off on another idea and try it right away! That’s exactly how new techniques are born!!! I rewatched this a second time and I thought the sprinkled ultra high gloss background you did would make beautiful die cut fall leaves with the layers of color and the speckled look in there! My husband is originally from Sudbury Suffolk and he knows of Newton Green. He used to go past there on his way to Ipswich. It was a charming place, small and quiet! He is now in Maine. Hello from Suffolk! I have lived in Suffolk for nearly 6 years now and whilst I don’t Newton Green specifically I can vouch for the area! I am about 24 miles away but spend a fair amount of time around Lavenham etc which is close to Newton Green. Best move we made x

Hi Marion I hope you are well. I remember doing Batik when I was at school many moons ago. I now have a Daughter & 2 beautiful daughters. We did batik on fabric using wax and dipping the fabric into dye. It was amazing. Julie. What a fun technique, embossing powder is so fun to play with. I've been trying to make different effects for water, this will work perfectly, thank you so much for the video. Going to try colored embossing powder for that one you put card stock on top to absorb the powder.
