What a wild race! Disappointing day for Me with a couple of mechanicals. Loved the tracks here, and really wish I coulda had a good day.... Racing sucks some times! Pumped for Party Boi getting back up there with 11th, and Big Wax turning around his day to finish on the podium. Thanks to the Moi Moi Tv Gang for yelling!! We heard You out derrr 😎. Well done Jack, it was great meeting you. I was your chaperone for doping control. What I forgot to say when we were walking to get your ID was that you're such a great Ambassador for the sport, particularly with the kids. I was super impressed how you engaged each kid who approached you. You are at the top of the sport and lots of people want to talk with you but you made each one of those kids feel like they were your primary focus. That's the mark of a true professional. How does EWS work with wheel swaps? I don't know the rules well but thought you have to have all the same bike parts for the whole race.

It blows my mind how mousse tubes haven’t made their way to enduro mountain bikes. Your whole season is depending on not having a flat at a bad time. There is no way any moto enduro guy would risk not running mousses for this very reason. Maybe they will take a little to get used to but the risk of not finishing surely out ways any negatives of mousses. Mousses are a revolution in waiting for this sport.

@@geekman1234 they are inserts that fully fill the tyre with no air pressure required. Used in Dakar and other rallies etc. Hence the benefit being you only go out on a major tyre tear etc.

​@@cameronmclennan1664I think it has been tried before in mtb , I think the issue for mtbs having a fully filled tyre is that the with low weight riders the tyre would feel too hard and heavy riders it would feel too soft.

@@geekman1234 there is a big difference between inserts and mousse’s. Inserts still require air pressure to hold the tyre up, mousse’s don’t require any air pressure. There is a different feel with mousses but the feel in not necessarily worse, the disadvantage would be weight, however with mousse tubes you don’t have to worry about avoiding hitting sharp edges, you can just charge through the gnarliest terrain without worrying about getting a flat. For the terrain they were riding this weekend like most weekends the disadvantage of the little extra weight seems a small price to pay. Jack got really lucky last year, he got a flat ,meters from the the end of a stage. If that happened at the start of the stage, Jack doesn’t win the world title. Michelin are the world leaders in mousse technology, I would expect them to lead the way with a mountain bike setup.
