It is so good to see you, Nisha. Definitely the bigger one😉. My little dog takes the same medicine 3 times a day: morning, mid-afternoon and evening. After the afternoon one, I give her a small chew to clean her teeth. Never after the morning or the evening ones. Well, if I get interrupted in the afternoon after I gave her the medicine, she will stay, sitting in front of the container where her chews are until I give her one. She will never do that after the morning or evening ones😉😍

You looked lovely in all the clothes. The second knitted dress was a little better fitting I think. I like to wear makeup every day. I’m almost 71. Sometimes I wear a little and sometimes a bit more. It makes me feel I care about my appearance. I enjoy watching you apply your makeup. My new year mantra is Don’t fret about the past and try not to worry about the future. Just enjoy the “now” . Sometimes I worry about what will happen in the future and it spoils the now if that makes sense xx

Luis is gorgeous and clever, like you! I heard somewhere that dogs have the vocabulary of a 2 year old. I think they know more from personal experience. I once told my daughters about a dried meat snack, that my dog loves, was on my bedside table. Softly my dog got off my lap and left the room. After a minute my 1 daughter said she's sure he went to get the snack. When we sneaked into my room he was busy eating it. They are like humans, with more intuition. Hi Nisha. Haha- we must never underestimate the intelligence of our furry friends- they are so clever! Louis is such a sweetheart and I must admit,I love his longer hairstyle but it’s a nightmare when they go for a muddy walk! The satin bow top looks lovely with the satin skirt. The burgundy velvet dress was just the most beautiful colour and timeless.Unfortunately, I can’t wear knitted dresses as they cling to every lump and bump !❤️🥰

Love the scenery of course, it's been very cold here as well and I am not enjoying it either. Louis looks marvelous and he is smart because he is like a family member, dogs know their routines that are pampered pets if ours. Love the outfits,very lovely. And I love pussywillows so loved the vase. I do hope you got your ears checked. In the US we use Debris Ear Removal System and if it worsens the doctor will usually order an antibiotic. Hi Nisha! Animals understand many things! I have a cat who impresses me every day! I named him Doggy because he often behaves like a dog! J Here in Quebec City, we're used to the cold. This morning I went to remove the snow covering my car. Right now it's -16° and the temperature feels like -27°. Since the holidays, I've been cleaning every room in the house. It's a big job that I wasn't able to do in the fall! I'm always happy to see that your Louis is in great shape. Your dresses are very sophisticated! I was very self-conscious about my dark circles when I was young. People used to ask me if I'd been punched! It made me very sad! Today, with skincare, they've diminished, but it's had a big influence on my decision not to go out without make-up. Some comments can stay with us for a long time and affect us for life! Hi Nisha Air great vlog, thank you again. With the paler knitted dress, it appears the smaller one fits best. It is about how comfortable you feel though. About the makeup, I hear you Nisha! Living in Australia the adorning of sunglasses is a yearly must, at least for me. If I know I’m going to have to remove my sunnies, I will add at minimum some brows. I most definitely prefer how I look with makeup and generally will wear it. I’m a great believer in the ‘you do you’ ethos. It’s what helps bring confidence and comfortability in one’s own skin, the history or why that is does not matter, it’s what gives us our armour to face our day, that’s what matters!

On the dress it really depends on what it is made with. Some fabrics can give alot when you wear them and become baggy so maybe the smaller one will give around the tum area because it fits better up top. I will never leave the house without at least foundation on. It gives me that extra bit of confidence.

Nisha, it was so funny describing yourself as looking like a dragon lol I feel the same way I never leave the house without make up even if I am going out to shovel snow or getting the mail lol and I do love the dress probably the largest size if you kept the smallest size, I doubt if you would really wear it you would be too self-conscious. It’s a beautiful dress, I love off-white. I have a off-white one that I’ve had for many years maybe 15. It still looks pretty good. It’s sort of an Angora blend and it goes down straight just the way yours is you will get a lot of use out of it. the tops I like to they look great on you and Louis is just adorable. I love that hat! You reminded me of the actress in the Doctor Zhivago movie, you're so pretty and the hat looked warm and stylish. We are dealing with bitterly cold temperatures. In upstate NY. It was 16 degrees but with the wind chill, I am sure it was closer to zero. The velvet burgundy dress is so nice as well as the others. I am partial to burgundy for some reason, but they looked lovely. I like that you have so much closet space, I live in a house from 1900's and I have small closets. Hi Nisha I think our cats know what we are saying. Our new cat got mad that I was texting my sis, so he jumped up on my chair arm ..I ignored him. Then he jumped up on the back of the chair and pawed my hair, and I was still texting so he jumped in my lamp. After I paid attention to him he got on his own love seat and was happy. I loved the velvet dress..beautiful color, I love the bow top ..gorgeous. The sweater dress is gorgeous. I thought it looked good in either size. I don’t wear Spanx but I buy Shapermint. It is like Spanx but so comfy and just does enough to hold you in a bit. The story about you being a bride reminds me when I had a hysterectomy at thirty six. My husband’s uncle came to see me before I put on make up. I had no pain after and felt fabulous, but he had never seen me without make up and told my husband’s mom..Omg, she must be in horrible pain. She looked so bad. He came back in a week and of course ,I had make up on and he said Oh good you feel better. I tell you that surgery made me feel like a new woman. I had severe endometriosis and I really had no pain after the first night, even though I had a large cut. I need to do some make overs on some of my vases. Yours looks great. I will probably make a mess. It is supposed to be two below here by Tuesday. I used to hate cold weather but now I think I prefer it over really hot weather. At least my fine hair looks so much better in cold weather. I know your husband is a good one like mine because when you start feeding the birds, they depend on you and come back every year. He has different seeds for them, suet treats and creamy peanut butter. Nisha if we had to give up something so he could feed the birds he would gladly do it. Paul is a good man and you are sweet for doing it when he is gone. I love spending time with you. ❤❤❤

I’m 57 and I put on makeup almost everyday. Even if I’m just staying home and cleaning the house and doing laundry. I feel better about myself when I do. I do it for me and no one else. My husband and grown kids don’t care one way or the other. Even my grand kids don’t care what I look like as long as I give them the love and attention they want. Hi Nisha! The velvet dress looks like it was made for your hourglass figure! You did the right thing in getting it I think 😅❤ Dry, itchy ears can be too high oestrogen to progesterone ratio. Phytoestrogens in food (eg flax, soy, seeds) actually increase our oestrogen levels and of course it fluctuates throughout the month. There was a really interesting podcast about oestrogen with Doc Malik and Wendy Sellens in December. It's on Spotify and his substack. I've just checked and it's episode 271. Louie - oh my goodness, how clever is he! He's like the little Professor of the dog world. Professor Louie 😁💜💜

Loved both dresses, I thought the smaller size cream fitted better but I understand how you feel about your tummy, I’m the same. Maybe you could wear an underskirt to make the dress skim your tum? It’s how you yourself feel, you always make the right decisions. I was ill over New Year and didn’t wear makeup for 2weeks😱. I just don’t feel myself without it, although I have to admit that my evening cleansing routine was much quicker! Louis is such a smart cookie, as is our Buddy, he knows many words so now go, going, walk, park, woods, round the block are referred to as constitutionals. He knows the timing of his routine and sits looking at me if he thinks I’ve forgotten. He rules our home! ❤

I look so different without makeup too. Plus, I have no eyebrows from over plucking back in the day. 😞 When I was High School, my sister told my boyfriend I was ugly without makeup on. That was so traumatic for me, and it has stuck with me to this day. 😔 I think you look good with a bare face. 😊 I loved both dresses, and the cream one especially. I must say, I think the smaller dress looks best on you. It really accentuates your waist. ❤ Also, I wanted to share that I learned how to apply make up by waiting your videos! I began watching in 2021 and have seen all of them. And because of you, I feel pretty every single day. I rarely go anywhere without at least foundation and blush. Hi Nisha, first of all, you don't look ugly without make up! You just feel more confident with it and go from beautiful to beautiful and glamourous. But how you feel is important. When i worked in London we had a family trauma one night and went to work the next day without make up because I was so tired and upset. My boss wanted to send me home because he thought I was ill and I explained that it was my natural (dead looking) self! I am treated differently in shops if I don't have any make up on as well. I really laughed about you having to spell words with Louis because we do the same with my dog. She knows all her different toys and brings the one you ask for. We never say the word 'cat' because it causes absolute mayhem! I love all the clothes you got and you look fab in both sizes of the knitted dress but you must keep the one you feel most comfortable in. Louis never seem to be cold he sometimes even goes into the river in this cold weather, he has a coat but whenever we put it on him he doesn't seem to like it x

Just came back from London .. We had such an amazing time ❤loved it we shopped till we dropped lol Harrods was amazing we spent 5 hrs shopping had tea so lovely it was so delicious as well we did damage 👢👢👜👜💄💄💄lol Also Liberty spent hrs lol my daughter loved it so much she ordered wallpaper bought fabric and handbags we went back 3 times lol so fun .. Then took the train to Paris ..it was magical did some sight seeing ..went to Notre Dame a museum as well gorgeous..shopping was amazing 👜👜👜👠👠👠💄💄💄💄lol lots of damage again lol yikes 🙈🙈🙈 Thank u duty free tho lol 🤪 unfortunately UK tho but such a lovely time with my daughter we walked all over London ate so much and met such nice people and New York and London are so similar but I personally think London is nicer and cleaner it’s just amazing..can’t wait to go back ..and take the train to Paris again so easy as well ..really miss it My husband wants to visit as well so yes another visit ..weather was like NY so we were prepared dressing warm … did so many fun things , my daughter was able to meet a designer she follows and she invited us to her home so gorgeous her showroom was amazing we ordered some fabrics and she bought a table lovely it was ..feel like it was a dream as I lay here in bed exhausted lol I’m still on London time .. glad to be home but what a gorgeous trip it was .. I’m drinking tea loving it ..can’t wait for things to arrive as we had to ship kinda over shopped lol opps 😂but ohhh so fun .. loved your side of the pond ❤️❤️❤️ and I love ur burgundy dress ❤ beautiful color for u ..❤️❤️

Nisha you are beautiful. Your soft mannerism is so becoming. Im like you. I feel more confortable with my makeup on. I have a few friends who dont wear any makeup at all. Im always doing me, despite what they do. I feel so confortable when my face is made up. Ill never change either. To each her own. The cream sweater dress is awesome on you in either size. If your more comfortable in the larger size then that what you should do.i didnt see much difference between them anyway. Never feel bad for be yourself. God made you and he never does anything but perfect! Louie looks beautiful with his latest cut, too. Be safe & stay warm. 🫶

This story about not wearing make up and being nit recognised at the swimming pool made me laugh but a bit sad as well. People do not realise how quickly they could steal someone's confidence. I have vitiligo on the eye and usually I wear make up to hide it. However, I have confidence to go out without makeup. Once, I was picking up my daughter from school and at that day I didn't wear my makeup and one mum said to me ' what happened to you eye,? I explained and she added 'oh, I thought you're normal' Well, that was a strange and really not pleasant comment but what you can do with people? 😜

Have you tried hydrogen peroxide in your ears? That will often soften the wax and help you flush out anything that may be blocking your ear canal. The velvet dress is beautiful.

My sister without makeup is unrecognisable she has bad skin and wears jam jar glasses, she puts makeup on, and contacts, and she looks totally different and glamorous. I, on the other hand, look pretty much the same, just a bit more glamorous. I wear makeup for work and going out.
