I'm in Australia and envious of your Christmas in the cold, it never feels like Christmas to me here, 37C the last two days, down to 25C tomorrow and I think Christmas will be around mid 20sC. I'm glad you didn't waste your money on those skirts, they were boring, you should shop your stash and get out some of your beautiful skirts.

Love the ramekins and bottles, but did make me giggle, in the early 00’s I used to paint glass jars bottles and old vases, well in fact anything, even a vintage sewing machine cabinet to camouflage as a hall table) I thought it was rather nice at the time lol) I painted them in pale creams then did a metallic gold distressed effect on them, it became a running joke in the family even the kids, if you stood still long enough in our house I would paint you cream and gold leaf…..I didn’t think it was back in fashion lol 😊

Hi Nisha. I think the M&S cream skirt was very nice on you and I know you feel like you have a tummy, but most of us ladies after a certain age have the same problem. You look wonderful and we have to learn to love ourselves just as we are and all our scars tell their own story but the most important thing is that we’re here to tell it. I admire your gym sessions but when you are lifting those heavy bar weights, doesn’t it put a lot of strain on your knees and back with keeping your legs straight? Endless gloomy days do depress me but a cold,crisp sunny day in the winter is glorious. We don’t get frost in Athens and though it’s cooler lately, it’s not really cold and just seeing the sun when opening the shutters brightens up my mood.❤️🥰🎄
