I was 36 yrs old when this came out and my daughter was learning to drive in what was lovingly called "the barney mobile" (purple dodge caravan). We would rock out driving up and down Rt. 1 with her brother in the back. Wicked fun! I'm almost 60 now and I still love this song.

Every 90's kid knows there's no difference between 1999 and 2000.. The 90's truly ended after 9/11. And even after that, for a few years was a similar vibe to the 90's right before social media blew up and before everybody had smartphones and internet. The internet did exist (as it did in the 90's) but wasn't used the same way as now.

First time in literally years that I've actually spent money on music whatwith the availability of pirated content... I still remember the day I first became a Sugar Ray fan, believe it or not. Was an ambivalent middle school kid at my local Walmart in the late 90's. Faced with a choice. Sugar Ray or Lenny Kravitz? I don't come from money, so it was a big deal which CD I picked... Allowances were few and far between. Anyway, listened to record on a loop...enjoyed every minute of it. Didn't regret the choice I made. No second-guesses.
