I don't like hearing the lyrical message being negative or promoting the opposite of what music taken out of context from it longtime tradition. I grew up in the ghetto and have been trodding Rastafari for over 23 years. What can you say to I that I haven't heard before? What does an opinion of a stranger mean to someone? Not much. I have been shown nuff love all over the world as a Rasta and have also been shown scorn and hatred but what does it mean? If I cared of peoples opinions would I be a Rasta in the first place? Come on man? their color makes them no bandit its their taken from another and perverting it with no respect for the foundation. If ones want to write sublime lyrics then do it over that sound and quit trying to make the riddim sound like roots reggae. Its one intention not the shade of their skin.
