if you are idli fan don't miss the sambar idly at palmgrove. it is a mix of Tamil Nadu + Karnataka fusion. As a person who was born in Chennai and lived there for 27 years before moving abroad Palmgrove remains my no 1 spot in Chennai for idly.

Chanced your channel and immediately liked and subscribed. Beautiful presentation, camera angles are just perfect. Love the effort you had made to do pronunciations of Tamil words quite decent. Best wishes! Rasam+ Idli is a very popular combo when people get ill, especially fever, in Tamil Nadu. Doctors highly recommend for kids and elders when consulted for fever. More of homely combo rather than restaurant combo. Not sure if you had Prasadams- Puliyotharai, Sweet pongal and Thatai in Paratha sarathi temple. They are the best! In triplicane there is Basha halwawala. Halwa is very good their! It is just 400mts from Ratna Cafe!

Your fascination for idlis is something else! Nice vlog and you're looking pretty as usual ❤ Here's a bit of trivia for you - in Tamil, we don't have भ or थ. Geetham isn't गीथम. It's गीतम. Generally in the south of India your name would be spelt Shwetha because for them this spelling is श्वेता. And Shweta would be pronounced as श्वेटा "Th" is त and "t" is ट. It's pretty common to see names spelt Geetha, Seetha, Rajanikanth and so on and the names are pronounced without the emphasis - गीता, सीता, रजनीकांत etc. That's the reason sambar is सांबार and not सांभर. Now why dosa is not written as dhosa is another story all together! Then maybe the दोसा - डोसा confusion may never have existed! English is a strange language and it's stranger how we use it as the lingua franca and try and bridge so many unique cultures and languages with a language that's perhaps the weirdest of all!

Can u come to Puri, Odisha for ur food exploration, u can get a whole lot of varieties of traditional food in veg, as I have seen most of ur videos, that u are a vegi, right ! if I am not wrong... Though I came to Puri, 5 months before from Cuttack, Odisha, but I really love with the food of Puri, cause it has the varieties, if u want street food then, u will get a whole lot of traditional and varieties, but if u go to restaurant & hotel, u will get a mix of all.
