my thoughts D - ooooooookay then not my favorite at all but. ok i really like the special results song tho C - kinda just "refined" version of the old one in quotes because i don't think this looks very good compared to the old one anyways moving on B - pizzelle was NOT built for that face ew ew ew ew ew background is cool though! THAT's what she should've looked like on the actual screen imo A - again "refined" version of the old one but for this one i'd say those quotes mean less because this one doesnt look as bad moving on S - yeah! same as the old one pretty much! if it ain't broke don't fix it but personally i think that could go for like all of these even though it seems the SS team disagrees P - eeehhhhhhhh........ i think the old animation was miles better and WAY more expressive and representative of pizzy but the song is good kinda rant alert but overall i just dont really like the new direction theyre taking with the animation, it seems like theyre really trying to make pizzelle into peppino expression-wise and it just does NOT work imo, compared to what we had before this just doesnt look good for the most part and i think a lot wouldve been better off untouched

It’s a double edge sword anyway because if they did still use the old sprites y’all would remake those sprites anyway because “those sprites are crusty and outdated” but If they did remake the sprites (which they did) you guys would hate it because “it’s not the same as I remember so it’s bad” like stfu

@ also it’s not bad because it’s not the same. it’s bad because the posing and overall animation in most of this really just is noticeably more stiff and less fluid respectively than the old sprites. also who the hell seriously remakes sprites with their huge weiner like that going around saying the preexisting crap is crusty and outdated like. be real the only reason people remake sprites and stuff usually is just for fun and practice

Thoughts: D - Eh C - Those added eye details and the messed up mustache ruin it B - Why A - They looked at the old one and went like “How about we do that, but make it as soulless as possible by removing it the light from Pizzelle’s eyes” S - Same reason as the C rank P - I like the Noise reference at the end of it, but removing the dance is a serious L 4/10 - Remade ranks for no reason, ruining previously good ranks, these animations aren’t that good.
