The movement is a throwback to a time where gentlemen would have to reset, and wind their watches daily to the central time in the town clock. But I love the multi directional, bezel, and the response on the first pusher. Plus watching the gears work while the watch is being used through all the display case back is a delicious gift from this manufacturer. While it has its charm, just be aware of its caveats. Enjoy.

Yes, I just bought this beautiful piece. You forgot to talk about the bezel action. I haven't handled many bezels, but this is by far the smoothest action I've ever experienced. One odd point about it though, it's only 24 clicks. It seems they've used a GMT bezel as the base. Still, the feel of the bezel action makes up for the lack of granularity in the bezel precision. Another point worth gushing about is the dial and hand set. The detail on display here is phenomenal. For such an affordable watch, it's pretty amazing.

I just got it in. This watch is amazing for the price. Exactly the same quality will be at least 4000 dollar when this watch would have been made in Germany or Switzerland. The execution is flawless. The bezel action amazing, the dial super sharp, the case finishing, the leather strap, the lume..it all is really amazing. It is that undefined feeling when you handle the watch, that screams quality. And then the movement. I have seen so many reviews of the ST19, but all say that it only looks nice from a distance. This movement looks to me quite impressing at first sight. So I went in with a loupe....and really, it is beautiful. Polished silver parts, golden parts, blued screws, even some striping. This is a thing of absolute beauty, also with a loupe. Very, very pleased with this amazing watch.

I got the rose gold and blue version and wow it is a nice watch for the price. I have 5 other Sugess and a Seestern doxa 300 homage. Awesome watches. I ordered this one the day it was released, been a fan of the Blancpain for a while now. Found Sugess on an old forum post when I was searching for the most affordable mechanical moonphase about 4 years ago. Been a fan ever since. I did have to get rid of that strap, just didn’t feel like it went with the watch well.

Reminds me a lot of the Leonidas cp1 and cp2 which were issued to the Italian air force in the 50s. Zenith and breitling made hommages to those two models later on

His looks like it needs fixing already... you can see the minute counter is stuck at 20. It's cheaper just to buy a new watch or at least a new movement and install it than to service it.

So I’ve had this watch for a year now, I have a rather large collection and it doesn’t get worn a lot but fairly often, it is spectacular, very accurate and wears great. Shipping was about 6-7 days if I remember correctly. Definitely worth the money. Non watch people are amazed at the movement from the caseback.

Hi Chris, I do also own a Sugess chrono 40mm with a beautiful total green dial and I love it. But this is really something else! But... big with a huge lug to lug distance (like mine actually). Blancpain released the air command in 36mm, if Sugess could do this it would be the perfect watch.

This is a cool watch, with the Seagull 1901 movement it reminds me of the 19 Zuan. That makes this a very inexpensive mechanical chronograph, and a fun alternative to the 19 Zuan.

It looks like the bezel and case from the Houtman Pilbara. Not sure who had it first but often a microbrand design might find its way into an AliExpress watch if they make the parts.

It's be great if you could compare this to the Hruodland AC Chronograph. It's only 40.5 mm and avail with either a mineral or sapphire crystal and a cool aircraft back engraving, but otherwise looks the same. It's a Seiko quartz if you're ok with that, and much cheaper.

Hi, I got one and I suspect Sugess using tritium lume...which seems not that safe considering the fact that there is external paint on the basel, what’s your thought ? Mine is still glowing (very slightly) after 2 days in the box. Thanks !

I have a Hemel Air League, which looks almost exactly like this one but in 40 mm. It fits better on my wrist. Too bad this one comes with 42 mm and 51 L2L. It's just too large for me.

Im new to watches and I have a dumb question. Are most watch bands interchangeable? I love this watch but I hate the band it comes with. Can I buy any band from these secondary band sellers or is there a specific size i’d have to get with this watch?
