This channel focuses on the attractions and animal welfare of great apes (Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Orangutan).
We praise zoos that are proactive about animal welfare and environmental enrichment,
and strongly criticize those that are passive about animal welfare and environmental enrichment,
and demand that animal welfare be implemented.
*Environmental enrichment is a measure to reduce
their mental and physical stress and have them live a happy life from the standpoint of an ape,
not from a human convenience or emotion.
Among them,
foraging enrichment (installing puzzle feeders and increasing the number of meals so that apes can lead a rich life) can be done at low cost.

@@GreatApesZoo We must be close in age because I remember hearing her at a very young age as well. My pawpaw adored Karen, and she helped soothe his soul nightly with her voice, helping him get to sleep after a rough day of work. She was one of a kind. No one will ever replace her.

Haha. The little one is so adorable. And so plump. He almost looks like he’s a little on the fat side until you realize that his legs and arms, despite being short, are very muscular for such a small chimp. I think when he grows up he will be a very large chimpanzee! It’s good to see the older males playing with him. You can tell that they adore him!!

They dont look healthy. Please get a vet to look at them. Also they need more stimulation. Please provide them with more activites and objects to keep them active.
