The description is wrong btw You just need to have the entered the Empyrean. Mastema will just chill in Shinjuku and you can get the quest for either route. This also means you can fight Samael earlier than the Final Boss Gaunlet. I suspect the Flag needed to do this quest might just be the death of Dazai.

Yeah, tho the only other demons in P3R I wished they brought back in here are Qitan Daisheng and Niddhogr. It's weird not having the most popular Chinese mythology figure in a Megaten game and Qitan would've fitted easily in Wargod race. Niddhogr for Drake race cause theirs such a large gap in between Basilisk and Hydra

The only things I understood from his explanation was that the Qadištu were summoned from another world, the first ruler of Creation was the Babylonian God Marduk, and that the Nahobino is somehow connected to the bull god (who I’m going to assume is Marduk). Can someone please explain to me what everything else meant, because I was very much lost. (And is Samael difficult?)

In a nutshell: Marduk was the first Bull God, who defeated Tiamat, who was the primordial goddess. He took the throne and put a curse on it so that only other horned gods would be able to claim it even after his time. The Mandala system allowed that since it still allowed for the world to be created and recreated as per the cycle. But the snake god followers, like Samael, were deprived of the throne and plotted revenge for eons while other bull gods claimed the throne in the meantime (Ra, Baal, and YHVH). Samael and his cohorts (whoever they might be) summoned the Qadistu into the world in order to help their schemes. Meanwhile Lucifer aimed to surpass YHVH as we already know since the original game. Samael doesn't take issue with the protagonist claiming the throne despite being a Nahobino because the world was going to be reborn anyway, but he DOES take issue that you not only killed his wives but also aims to kill him because Mastema (a servant of the system) requested you.

Actually at the beginning there was no throne or order there was only chaos but after tiamat was slain by marduk brought the throne of creation and order on the world but Marduk knew that his rule would be challenged so he put curse on the throne so that his reign would persist and the world continues its cycle of being created and destroyed and reborn anew this endless cycle became known as the mandala system until YHVH striped the other gods from their knowledge and remember what tsukyomi said nahobino is God's purist form and without their knowledge they are reduced to demons and YHVH's angels served as his blind forces that maintained his rule but Lucifer rebelled with other angels against their ruler to take down his order and the followers of the serpent like Samael wishes to destroy marduk's order return the world to primordial chaos state and they are the ones tempted humans to eat the fruit of knowledge and the reason why nahobino requires both god and human because the humans are the holders of god's knowledge and without them the fallen gods can't ascend to the throne Lucifer realised all of that so after he slain YHVH he awaken aogami and send him to the protagonist chosing him as the new world's god as he chose demi-fiend to be the demon who will breake the current world's order and Lucifer consumed God's knowledge to transcend and understand the way of world and when nahobino defeating Lucifer give his knowledge and as Samael said a world of order is the farthest thing from freedom Lucifer understood this plot of this to be truly from the world's order

Put Me patra users topmost of your party order. Alilat is good here because it is immune to poison which Samael starts spamming once he lost half of his Hp bar.
