What... second to Pete Thorn?
@kenster865Ай бұрын
@@steveymoon I'd say that's a fair statement. Pete is an iconic dood. Best in field IMHO.

Another good video of how the amp sounds and hardly any 'this is this and does that' crap. Thanks for posting and excellent playing as well.

Sound pretty similar, suprisingly. The 30 seems a little tighter on the bottom, perhaps giving it a bit of a drier feel/sound. 35 has a bit of a fatter/compressed sound I think, a little more sag on the bottom? Chimier. Dont think I could go wrong with either tho!

Nice demo. I typically prefer 34s, but the 84 amp really sounds nice and chimey...perhaps it grabs me more since it's coming through a bit louder?

I love the mid range on the 30! Such a great amp. I'm so glad you can get the ivory color on it now! Dear santa...

Man it's tough over the computer. They sound similar. Can these amps get an Eric Johnson-ish warm tone with a pedal, or o Dokken, George lynch rhythm? Thanks man!

30 sounds rock, not quite as fizzy on dirt. Clean the 35...but very close. For EL 34 vs 84 it's pretty dang close.

IMHO the 35 seemed to be more 'inspirational" for the dude playing the guitar... The licks he played had an edge to it as though he was enjoying it more, even if subconsciously..while the other left me feeling flatter as if he was going through the motions of his licks..

Does anybody hear a hint of the fender bassman breakup in the badger clean tone?

35 sounds a little warmer which I like but I really want to know how each react to pedals... Maybe the riot and the shiba drive for reference... anyone know?

I have a Shiva EL34 and. Badger 30. The voicing are entirely different....the Suhr has more rasp and cut while the Shiva has more low mids and is smoother.

I like this demo format. No talk, caption with the settings. I always skip past all the talk in demos.

I have a 30. Seems to me the clean is better with the 30 than the 35. More ''Hendrixy''

I'm so sorry, but the sound between two heads is so same for me! Sounds like the paradise! Anyway... the 35 look nice with my shirt.

Ok, so the 35 is more Voxy chime and Orange dirt, the 30 more Marshall, i will take the 30!
