Very nice instrument. And the guitar is not bad either.

I dig the playing, but would like to hear some lead also. 👍🏻

I'll bet Suhr loves the tuner covering the logo.

Thomas Moore If you’re here, you know. Having to ask who’s fretboard Greg is obliterating leads to purchases. Not logos.

Damn Gregg buy that thing you made it soar!!!

Sounds great, now if they would put covers and surrounds on the pups it would look finished imo.

@@mh287 I know but, they make them for Strats too .I realize it's personal taste but,those open routes just look unfinished to me.

@@toddflowers8052 suhr usually do but in general covers aren't that important in super strats, probably would look better with mounted rings, to each his own.

Suhr makes a nice Ibanez copy here! Looks like a great guitar. Anybody still think basswood is the cheap stuff such as used in these multi-thousand $ guitars?
@n1w45 жыл бұрын
i don't think suhr are copying ibanez here, and i don't think you're listening to the guitar as much as you are the spec sheet, and whatever you happen to believe that means...
@robertwellington26165 жыл бұрын
Nazmo King suhr did this before ibanez and tbh Brian Moore guitars did it before Suhr. Yea you never heard of them. They no longer sell in stores just direct. Thinner , curved for comfort beautiful Bengal top, tobacco curly maple, chameleon with 4 colors. Seymour Duncan’s in any order you want. Piezo in the bridge if you want. Cool tap and 14 sounds. Custom shops or even Koreans are good. They came first.

Basswood is cheap regardless of what the manufacturer charges for the instrument. It has a particular tone, warmer than alder, brighter than mahogany, and these high end builders would certainly use a lighter, higher quality than Ibanez on their cheaper models, but basswood is still a cheap wood to source. Not to say it's bad or doesn't "sound" good, but for the money, many would expect something "nicer". All good though, not the most important thing. One love ♡

My biggest concern when spending that kind of cash on an instrument, is the fact that basswood is a soft wood and very susceptible to denting* even if it's well made and sounds good, I'd be very upset if it easily dented. Just saying. Maybe I'm wrong. If so, never mind me

@@Astral_Wave Vai, EVH, Satch, & Guthrie Govan love Basswood. As do I. It's lighter than everything, other than Ash, but it's not twangy. To my ears, it's flat, meaning it's even or slightly scooped. Mahogany has more mids & can be honky. I have yet to play a roasted example of Basswood, but GG uses it on his Charvel. Your paying for the Craftsmen building the guitars, not so much the price of the woods used.
