I just picked up a Modern Plus which is very similar to this model. Jack did a fantastic job of showcasing the variety of pickup options and their sounds and described them nicely. Great job on the demo overall too.

Suhr makes amazing quality guitars. I've played a lot and they are magnificent. Definitely out of my price range but anyone who has the cash should definitely give these a try.

If only I could afford it... Yeah, I felt gosh, I need a fix, need a guitar that I can let go on... So I went straight to Thomann online... I ended up getting a FUSION ll HSH LH FNT!!!! Ok, not a Suhr but heck, and incredible buy!!!! Best bang for the buck! Some day a suhr will land in my hands I'm sure...:-)

Ive watched this more times than I'd like to admit 😂 I am obessed with this tone. I have to get a Suhr Modern Plus and a Triple Crown. This is my life goals right now. Asolutely stellar rock tone. That riff at 12:54 is so damn good. I had the captions on it said (Applause) 😂 Hell yeah! My thoughts exactly. Great playing and world class guitar tone.

I'm curious what speaker cab you're using here, and what cab you use with the Triple Crown in general? It looks like a horizontal Recto 2x12" cab is mic'd up beneath the Lone Star cabinet that the TC-50 is sitting on. Your demos with this amp sound great!

I was in Danville Music (CA) today and tried one of these out. - same model, in fact... I had never seen or heard of this brand. I thought the headstock said "Sushi" guitars at first glance. Super playability - I have been looking for this.. Not cheap. Will I buy it? TBD. This was a great demo, appreciate the run through; really good job.

I went to that same store for the first time last week and played their Suhrs there. All very nice, but very $$$$. Did you end up buying from that store? Do they negotiate prices? I'm interested in the Modern Plus, or possibly the new Thorn HHS that's coming out.

@@kevliao I have limited experience w Danville Music, but they seem like good people - I would certainly consider them. I believe they will negotiate, but my acquisition was mostly a trade.

How original and ground breaking can a guitar be? Its priced for quality and its definitely not pretending to be affordable but the value is in the build, and the fact you cab order and suhr and be guarenteed a expertly crafted instrument

Suhr are great guitars BUT I was not blown away at all I was very let down to Be honest It’s a nice strat with very good pickups and articulate sounds but I was not wow at all
