Some time around 2003, Rob Trujillo was approached by a disturbing figure- dark and mysterious. 'Robert', he said, 'I got me a choice for you.' 'What is it?', Rob asked. 'My deal is this', the dark figure hissed. 'I'm going to give you the biggest gig on the planet. You're going to join the biggest heavy band ever. You'll play in front of the biggest crowds in the biggest venues; more fame and money than you could ever imagine...' 'Wow!', Rob exclaimed. That's amazing! What a deal!' 'But', the dark figure interrupted, 'my price is this: no one will ever hear you play- not live, not on album. No on will ever hear those awesome chops again. You'll be buried so deep in the mix the band might as well not have a bassist at all... So... what's it gonna be, boy?' Oh, Rob... What a tragedy...

I saw them on this tour… what a band… what amazing memories. Everyone that says how “underrated” this band is / was needs to read a lot of comments on their KZbin videos. These guys were an inspiration… a message of power… there are people STILL above ground because of that man’s words. Think about the caliber of musician that has played in this band. This band didn’t care about genre… they always felt 100% legit.. even when they showed their comedic side. No doubt my life is very different if this band doesn’t exist. As long as your heart beats…

Best era of Suicidal Tendencies ever. I remember buying Lights Camera Revolution back in the 1990s and let me say every song is incredible. The entire band is phenomenal. Rhythm section both guitarist and Mike M. has one of the most unique vocal style in Heavy Metal I've ever seen or heard. Also Mike is a terrific showman and still is to this date. In closing Rocky Brown is a criminally underrated guitarist. I won't name drop but I've seen guitarists get tons of praise while Brown never got even close to the accolades other good-excellent players have received. Yet ROCKY BROWN is an outstanding Lead guitarist and even better as a Rhythm player. What more is there to say SUICIDAL TENDENCIES are first rate professional musicians as you can possibly get. Appreciate the upload.

this lineup was great, it's cool how each band member brought in their own styles and the band slowly changed with each new member, and mike was obviously a great band leader since he seemed very open to new styles and ideas. Started in Punk, then Rocky joined, then they went to that punk/metal or metalcore to thrash. Then Robert joined and you can really tell he brought that funk with Lights, Camera, Revolution and Art of Noise. Each album was a great evolution of music and you couldn't wait what they did next.
