This footage proves that Mustaine should stop complaining about getting kicked out of Metallica 41 years ago. He has done unbelievably on his own. The guy is a master at what he does.

Yes and his voice still reigns on the new album the sick the dying and the dead. ;) he used most of hos past recordings while he was in high school and had Kiko play them so Dave mainly focused on his voice. And wow Soldier on sounds amazing as well as well be back. :) feels like back in the early 90s with this new album. Cant wait till the official release of the full album.

people always dog on him, but i think even since the band first formed, dave's voice has always had it's highs and lows (in terms of moments where he sang quite well) overall i like his style of vocals, and i think he's a more clever lyricist than hetfield (not to throw shade)

@@blunderless I can't help but feel that Dave's voice would be in better shape if he had learned not to strain so much though. He can't sing as high anymore so they play all these songs in a lower key nowadays. It's not uncommon for that to happen to older singers but it's also not necessary for it to happen. I've always thought his vocals are really cool and unique though and he's really good at writing music.

Dude, I met Megadeth back in 1995 on the Youthanasia tour when I was 12 or 13 which was my first metal concert. Since then, and till the day I die, I will be a Mega-Megadeth fan. There exists no group that has had more of an influence on my life personally or musically more so than Dave and his crew(s). Don't get ge wrong theres a place in my heart for Slayer and Pantera as well, but this lineup with the Dave's, Marty, and Nick were without question the most talented group of musicians concentrated on a stage that I have ever seen. The greatest contribution Metallica made to music was letting Dave go so we could have been blessed with REAL metal music!

His picking technique is completely abnormal, and he has to use both hand and forearm to be able to alternate pick, so his veins grow too much due to the force thay have to stand.
