CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Lydia (Laura San Giacomo) recounts the time when Charlie (Christopher Walken) saved her from the glutches of Nick The Nose (Joseph Cali).
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Television director Peter O'Fallon made his feature film debut with this independent film that pays obvious homage to the style of Quentin Tarantino, with plenty of violence and funny, talkative hit men. Suave gangster Charlie Barrett (Christopher Walken) meets four young men who have taken over his regular booth at a popular bistro. Charmed by the swaggering kids, he agrees to take a ride with them, but they give him a sedative and he awakens in a deserted mansion, taped to a chair with one of his fingers missing. One of his abductors, Avery (Henry Thomas), says that he has a sister who has been kidnapped and they need two million dollars to get her back, as well as a finger to exchange for her severed digit. Charlie phones his lawyer Marty (Cliff De Young), who calls a henchman, Lono (Denis Leary), who investigates the kidnappings and gives Charlie enough information to start playing each of his inexperienced abductors against the others.

yeah, they spent the movie showing how compassionate he was, especially towards women. He was even willing to not hold it against them when they first kidnapped him. And then he kills the two that stole money from him, but not the others? Never made sense to me

yeah kind of pointless. I figured it was meant to show he has a compassionate side, especiallt for women. But then he kills the girl at the end for stealing money, but let the other guys live who kidnapped and mutilated him

@@jamiehartley4218 he killed the girl because she was the brain of the scam with his boyfriend. The others were used, they didn't know about the scam of the two. And until he got release, Charlie believed the story too. He knew the truth when he killed the two supposed kidnappers and saw it was a mistake. He then understood the plot.

@@kiraxxxxxxxxx oh i know, but since they played up how compassionate he was, I figured he would have just taken everything and left them penniless, but alive to teach them a lesson. Kind of like him being a nice guy, and then back to cold-blooded killer. Plus how badly Avery would have been suffering. The guilt was obviously eating him alive.
