CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Over a game of poker, Charlie (Christopher Walken) tries to size up each of his captors as a means to gain their sympathy, but Brett (Jay Mohr) doesn't buy Charlie's ruse.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Television director Peter O'Fallon made his feature film debut with this independent film that pays obvious homage to the style of Quentin Tarantino, with plenty of violence and funny, talkative hit men. Suave gangster Charlie Barrett (Christopher Walken) meets four young men who have taken over his regular booth at a popular bistro. Charmed by the swaggering kids, he agrees to take a ride with them, but they give him a sedative and he awakens in a deserted mansion, taped to a chair with one of his fingers missing. One of his abductors, Avery (Henry Thomas), says that he has a sister who has been kidnapped and they need two million dollars to get her back, as well as a finger to exchange for her severed digit. Charlie phones his lawyer Marty (Cliff De Young), who calls a henchman, Lono (Denis Leary), who investigates the kidnappings and gives Charlie enough information to start playing each of his inexperienced abductors against the others.

I remember going to the movie theatre with my brothers and a group of friends to see another movie ( can't remember which one) but they sold out of tickets so we decided on Suicide Kings. We all loved it. What a great cast. It was refreshing to see Henry Thomas acting again and Johnny Galecki was funny as hell. And Christopher walken... Well he's just a natural born actor.

@@jamiehartley4218 it’s a cheaper booze, the maker/owner demand they make makers mark and only makers mark and at the affordable price point too. I honestly respect the brand and used to love it. Too bad the hang over from a handle and a fun night resulted in levels of agony I will never forget.

@@jamiehartley4218 It's an inexpensive but fairly high quality bourbon. I know a lot of classy folks who drink Maker's as a reliable drink at a bar. At home they'll drink Weller's daily and Woodford Reserve or Van Winkle or Stagg BTAC on a special day.
