For some reason, i did not see this movie until 2017 (i promise you i am a DC fan) i just didn't see this movie in 2016. I own it on bluray and i watched it twice. Everyone has there own opinions and everything is subjective but i LIKED this movie. Great casting, great characters who a bunch of people didn't know about and now they do. Great action plus this movie ties into the DC movie universe i liked it! Great video Bluray Dan!

I'll be picking this up on 4K Tuesday! For me the movie was a 6.5 ish / 10. It wasn't as bad as everyone claimed it to be. I think the problem was this movie had an incredible PR push and the content looked to be a SMASH HIT with (at least to me) a big hype around the Joker. Sadly it was just a good movie, nothing special and Leto was in the movie for under 10 minutes of screen time. That created the "anger" of people calling it the worst movie, etc, etc because the bar was high and it fell under it. On another note, I'd like to see a Harley / Joker movie -- that would be awesome!

I'm glad the Joker wasn't in it all that much because he's not really part of the team BUT I still would've liked to have see a little more of him. Saw it twice in theaters and I will be getting the blu ray extended cut for Christmas. Loved Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn I thought she did amazing and so did Jared Leto for what little screen time he received. The movie had its problems but I loved it regardless. Great video :)

I loved both the theatrical and extended version of the movie but I'm kinda disappointed we didn't get all or at least and great majority of the deleted scenes back into the extended edition.....I understand it would have had like a 3 1/2 hr run time but I honestly believe that would have benefited the movie and the company.....

Great video and unboxing of the blu-ray. The film has its moments of fun and excitement but its plagued with terrible editing issues and pacing and the tone of the film. I watch the extended cut on digital and it really didn't add anything to it. But the movie is not bad but could have been better if it proper editing. Thanks Blu-ray Dan!!!!!

For me, personally, I have very mixed feelings on "Suicide Squad." While I don't think it was a complete pile of crap, I still kinda understood where the critics were coming from when not taking a liking to this film. While is has it's share of fun and exciting moments sprinkled here and there along with a dark, gritty visual style to somewhat offset itself from other superhero films, it doesn't excuse the fact that the finished product is one jumbled, hot mess through a convoluted plot, underutilized characters, and choppy editing and pacing. As for my favorite character, it would honestly have to be a toss-up between Amanda Waller or Rick Flag. In terms of Jared Leto's joker, he was fine in the scenes he was in, his character was just a wasted opportunity to be something special for this iconic villian. Plus, his version is nowhere near as good as Ledger's joker or even Jack Nicholson's for that matter.

Hey, Mark! I can definitely see what you mean. I honestly enjoyed the movie. I had a fun time with it but there were definitely visible flaws. Like you said, a lot of the characters were underutilized which bothered me the most. I heard Jared Leto state in an interview that he shot so many scenes with the Joker. He mentioned that it was enough for his own movie. While I'm sure he's exaggerating by far, we didn't see anything close to that. Regardless, I liked his performance but it was a bit too slow paced for me. When compared to Heath Ledger, I also agree. Heath Ledger did a fantastic job as the character and it'll always be hard to match or top. Thanks so much for watching, buddy!

I loved suicide squad because it made me like Jai Courtney who plays Captain Boomerang but Diablo was my favourite character and I don't think you can really compare Jared Letos joker to Heath ledger's because they're in my opinion totally different and I think we need to see Leto joker a little more I like that he's more of like a gangster because it gives more to do with his character instead of him just being a Batman villain he's also got an empire to run with his queen Harley Quinn who was also great in the movie

+vacaslocas120 I absolutely agree with you. A lot of people are going to do the same thin and just stick to the Bluray. 4K sales are definitely going to be lower with this one. I think a big factor is the size of your tv. The bigger your tv is the better it'll look on the screen. Thanks for watching, my friend!

hey Dan awesome review of the 4k Blu ray of suicide squad I haven't seen it yet but I have seen a lot of scenes from it that I really have liked seen all the trailers to looks like the kinda movie I would definitely dig I have herd mixed stuff some people love it some people hate it and some are in between me personally I am just going to buy it don't care I actually got ripped off when I bought my ticket for it in theaters the manager said the elevator was broken and the auditorium was up stairs in this particular theater and I am in a wheelchair so naturally i was choked but I get a free movie next time I go witch is nice the manager felt so bad anyway so yea I owe it to myself to just shell out the money been dieing to see it I personally don't have a 4k set up TV or Blu ray saw I will just go standard Blu ray extended cut not huge on steel books and stuff just my personal preference though cheers dude

Saw it in theaters and freaking loathe and despise this movie to its very core! The entire story repeats itself because it couldn't be bothered to actually move forward (ie- it starts off with Waller at dinner with some government type folks, telling us who the prisoners are, and we get introduced to Deadshot and Harley. Then we cut to Waller at a big government meeting, where we are introduced to Deadshot & Harley, again! For no reason! Then we meet the other members! Fucking stupid ass lazy, terrible story structure!) (ie 2- the main characters only get anywhere in this movie by having their helicopter shot down It happens no less than 3 times, because the screenwriter (s?) are/ were to lazy to think of original and inventive setpieces to actual advance the plot) Due to this type of bull shit, the characters never actual change or move forward or grow at all, so the entire movie is fucking waste of time!
