The Batman boss fight had the potential to be something of a tactical horror encounter like bo other, and they turned it into the most uninspired "kill the giant" boss fight ever made. Also how do the actions they take in that fight translate outside the acid trip? I expected something like "they are actually fighting an animated cardboard box while the real Batman is taking them down one by one" and the excuse to why he's not killing them out right could have been his famous mind resilience or whatever.

I’m going to play Devil’s advocate for a bit. The concept behind this game is interesting. The music within it is actually pretty good. And the voice actors sound like they’re having a blast, even if the dialogue can become a bit repetitive. Overall, I see this as an…INCREDIBLY flawed game. However if it were to be one’s first exposure to the characters, I could see some potential for something great. But that’s just me.

You almost could switch between the bosses in the fights and not even tell the difference. You literally just shoot until they die. That's it. The game should have *punished* you for just shooting mindlessly, not *rewarded* you. I want to cower in fear in the batcave waiting for Batman to jump out and get me. I want to set careful traps for Flash. I want to use Yellow Lantern tech or Scarecrow toxin to sap at Green Lantern's will until he can't fight anymore in a psychological battle. I want to go on a quest to steal magic artifacts from a terrifying magic-based boss, and then use them to outmaneuver, de-power and weigh down Superman. I hate making these 'I'm a nerd' posts, but these boss fights have zero creativity and zero imagination. There's so many other games you could go to for 'shoot until they die' boss fights, that are designed better and are more gratifying.

Boss fights like these would've been more appreciated, in my opinion, if they were in DC Universe Online; because these "shoot them 'till they die!" boss fights would be appropriate for such a game. Brainiac's fight should've involved more than just a Flash remake. It would've been a bit cooler if he mimicked the rest of the bosses too, in multiple phases, switching between Green Lantern, then Batman, and then Superman, then at the final phase, he gets his own unique moveset (if the devs can manage it).

I was pretty hyped for the game until they made it live service. No hate to the genre but I would prefer this game was made for single player, action, adventure. IMO not a bad live service game if you're into one, it's a solid game, but for me who's been following batman arkham series Suicide Squad story is dump (don't matter if this game was made in alternate universe). What bothers me isnt the concept of the game. Nobody cared about the "deadpool kills marvel" story. What i find lame is that they all die in such boring ways that are not only very unbelievable, but unceremonious. They didnt need to be mortal kombat levels of gruesome, but this was just lazy to me. If youre gonna use a silly, batshit crazy concept like this, go all the way with it. Also dont ruin another canon in the process. Nobody would have cared if this didnt affect the arkham world, and if this wasnt kevins last time being batman (though nobody could have forseen that bit).

Disrespected Batman in every way boss fight was garbage. I’d rather Batman use all the techniques we used over the years against us: vents, hanging takedowns, corner takedowns, smoke, etc but making him one big boss and the only thing he does is shoot lasers?? Cmon dude this disrespects Konroy and Batman
