I think they may have recorded lines but didn't have the time to animate the rest of the story since this game failed. Remember this was originally supposed to be like 12 seasons and that had to change which most likely impacted what little story they were trying to tell.

Most Arkham fans that I have spoken to regard the original games from 2009 to 2015 as THE Arkham games. They view this rancid failure as a failed project from fools who replaced the original Rocksteady team and are wearing its brand as a skinsuit. Enough people hated this project that WB is pivoting back to actual Batman games and changing course. They'll be sweeping this thing under the rug and pretending it didn't happen. Similar to how Disney went from dumping the Star Wars Expanded Universe material to actively trying to incorporate it into shows / sell it via "LEGACY" comics and books. What were people expecting? The game has been dead for most of the year and the plug was pulled they still had content they had to legally provide. The game has lost them hundreds of millions of dollars so common sense would dictate that no money gets put into it so no rendered cutscenes just have someone draw it for cheap, or have an intern do it for free. Keep just enough people to keep the game running doing the bare minimum and the ending is just to reset the neutral of the Arkhamverse and (wisely) removing the Suicide Squad from the Arkhamverse as well with them jumping into the multiverse.

While Tara isn't my favorite pick for her, she honestly doesn't talk non stop unlike other games, at best she just says some quick quips while in combat like everyone else. And if all else players can just swap her out of the roster with any of the added characters.

Glad that the whole league being clones theory was proven correct in the end (well except for Diana). Seems like the Squad and some of their allies are now going to start traveling to other worlds to avoid being recaptured by Waller, all while giftwrapping Brainiac for Waller. That statue of WW does give me hopes that WW could return somehow possibly through a variant of her (there's bound to be one out there who is more or less exactly like the one they lost) This does also open the door for a potential JL game somewhere down the line. Could easily be a prequel before the events of this game, or potentially somewhere in the future with them expanding the roster (maybe have guys like Aquaman, and Cyborg or Martian Manhunter joining) Either way im looking forward to know what the next chapter will be for the Arkham verse as a whole.
