Most of us here feels like were Suigintou. 😞 The “incomplete”, “unfinished” and “junk” doll. She will be always my fave Rozen Maiden.

Yeah, it's kinda creepy how many people consider themselves broken or lost or abandoned. I know that may provide a connection, but it still doesn't change that Suigintou IS a broken doll, physically and mentally. If people want to root for a doll, there's Suiseiseki, the only one of them all to question the Alice Game.

What's also amazing is the theming of that idea, where dolls like Shinku and Suiseiseki are complete as themselves and continue to reaffirm themselves of that mindset where Sugintou is still ensnared by the idea that she will only be complete with the approval of her Father.

Suigintou deserves to be Alice out of all of the Rozen Maiden dolls. I don't know why her father didn't complete her, but with or without a torso Suigintou, I think she's proved she's more worthy of being Alice.

I feel pity for Suigintou. She may love Rozen or their "Father" the most. I realize then that she destroyed everyone just the chance to meet her Father to tell him that she is the perfect doll and to become Alice. And that makes me cry feeling sorry for Suigintou. I felt the same about Suigintou at first. She always seemed treacherous and venomous through much of the series, but in the end she only wanted to win Rozen's affections. Even Shinku felt bad for her at the end. She realized she only wanted what all the other dolls did. Being their father's favorite. That being said, this was one of the rare situations where the victory feels hollow and empty rather than satisfying. The look on Suigintou's face at (4:17) before she collapsed was the epitome of tragedy.

Apparently in the manga he regretted making the Alice game but by that time had lost too much power to be able to stop it anymore and could only cry about it and regrets making his daughters fighting, he also created them in a way to try to bring back his daughter Alice if I recall, but he was a grieving father who decided on a horrible idea and by the time he got his wits back about it was horrified about what he did but lacked the powers to stop what he started, so full family drama coming in circle.

I love Suigintou, I love Shinku, I love all 7 dolls, even the fake one. When I watch Suigintou or Shinku die, I cry. Their my favorites and I can't watch their deaths. Same for henaichigo.

Suigintou IS an unstable daddy girl. She saw Rozen creating all the other Rozen Maiden and his love and wanted his love, too. In her desire and devotion she managed to start moving and living as a rozen maiden although she even lacked a rozen maiden. throughout the time her love turned into pure obsession. her hate towards Shinku is another story.
