“Suisei how do you do this?” “Well first you go SWOOSH, then you take that and POW and BLAMMO, and in the end TA-DAM!” She’s that type isn’t she?

Yep, she's always be like this. Because she only did go to music training once and never go again the 2nd times. All of her style are now just self-taught from that day to this day. If you asking her what "Vibrato" is , she would be unable to answer that question at all.

I'm thinking the iq process here means is to get a read on the song. What vibe does the song calls for and basically try to adapt (in this case writing lyrics) that suits them best. When Sui describe she likes chuuni lyrics too but this one song an "everyday" vibe is more fitting sounds on brand for her. She's this work hard, play hard type of person. Like with Miko she can goof off but on stage she totally transforms and put her game face on. She's crazy good at reading the room and then proceed to fit in like she belongs

This was my takeaway too. I think she means the types of rhethoric or metaphors she'll use in her songs, or the similies, are dictated by the tone of the song. A ballad doesn't need over-the-top dark and dramatic lyrics, for instance, so whilst she may have a few different lyrics in mind that'll convey the same message in any given song, she'll go with the type of language that compliments the mood of it. As to where she even comes up with such lyrical imagery in the first place? She's overhwlemingly charismatic, partly through personality, and partly through work ethic. She likely never stops thinking up cool phrases or lyrics depending on her mood.

That's what probably comes first into mind. if the song is upbeat lesser difficult word play but a bit more flowery and slower beat makes it more word play focused but lesser flowery word.

Suisei: very good at reading the room, professional idol on stage. Also Suisei: dance in the elevator or on shows where others normally sit/ stand still, running laps inside the studio, cheering with mochisui, spinning around in chair between recording, etc etc.

no, she first determine wheter its a grade school level, mid school, high school, or university, which subject, then search within the material for that specific subject before doing the equation. And there's the answer.

So basically she's looking at the complexity and overall tone of the song. If it is fast or easygoing, she goes for more simple/repetitive lyrics. Or if there's a lot of empty space and complicated theme, hence "AM 3:12", Stellar Stellar, . If it's complex with multiple instruments, she can go for more chuuni words. GHOST, Andromeda.
@joejunior4700
@joejunior4700 Жыл бұрын
So basically she basis her song lyrics content on how the song feel whether she will make it more flowery or just plain catchy simple with lots of word play rather than the latter that relies on complex words something like that?

Which of her songs did she write the lyrics of actually? Ghost is mentioned here (and I knew that already), I think she wrote Tenkyuu as well (but I am pretty sure not Next Color Planet and while I am not sure I think not Comet as well). She wrote at least one of the songs in the second album, Aseta Hinomidori, I think (edit: correction, Debutante Ball)? Also around the time of Midnight Grand Orchestra release I am pretty sure it was mentioned that InoTaku had already composed the songs (some of them (or most) back in Highschool even) but didn't have many lyrics and I know Suisei was involved in the lyric writing process but don't know how much. Did she write all/most of the lyrics in MGO? I remember her mentioning choosing Allegro after searching something like "cool music term". Anyway, it is real fascinating stuff, lyric writing. On a slightly related slightly unrelated note, I kinda think Calli is a better lyricist than she is a singer/rapper. She's still really good with the latter of course, but I think her lyrics are really her strong point where she truely shines. Whereas with AZKi I love her emotional singing the most (Inochi is so good). With Suisei I think her best or like signature is long high notes. Like start of Stellar Stellar or the end of her King cover for examples.

She credited for NCP actually, Stellar Stellar, from the 2nd album Debutante ball
@gokbay3057
@gokbay3057 Жыл бұрын
@@birusbun5557 Ah, it was debutante ball? I knew one of the songs from the second album, just wasn't sure of which between debutante ball and aseta hinomidori. I get those two confused pretty often since in Spotify their names are in Japanese unlike the rest of the songs that came with the album (with the exception of Michizure which is distinct because the name is shorter. Other songs in the album also have japanese only titles as well but I recognize them from their different cover images since they were released as singles before the album). So she wrote NCP as well, nice. That one has a special place for me, as it was my first Suisei song.
@scinerd68

She wrote lyrics for NCP, Ghost, Stellar Stellar and Debutante ball. Surprisingly she didn't write Tenkyuu. For MGO, Inotaku wrote the chorus and Suisei filled in the rest of the lyrics.

I believe it represents the complexity of words used in the lyrics to represent an expression. If the song is meant to be something simple and easy listening material while you're doing something else, then the lyrics don't need to be so deep and complex. If the song is meant to express deep emotional ideas, then you can use bigger or more difficult words that can capture that feeling more accurately.
@gokbay3057
@gokbay3057 Жыл бұрын
I think it refers to the vibe of the song. You might want to include a term in two different songs but choose different synoyms of the same word that fit the feeling of each song better.
