At 2:15, both of them say "joikon", but Mel means a single Joy-Con while Suisei means both of them, because Japanese lets you do that - a noun can be singular or plural and you don't have to specify which. So really, the Japanese language is to blame for this misunderstanding!

Watching again, I can't believe Mel can't seem to process the normal way of using a controller. Question: Is the joycon smart enough to re-orientate the analog stick when you turn it sideways?
