To make a confession, I've always thought Suisei was one of Hololive's most favored Vtubers for a long time. Cause she DID have that whole Hoshimatic project. In my mind, she's not just one of Holo's veterans but also one of their favorites. So when I saw Depressed Nousagi's video about her, I didn't expect all the hardships she went through. I'm glad she was able to stay as "Suisei" even though the management originally tried to convince her to redebut. And I'm freaking glad that A-chan was there. D**n, I even found out she used to strain herself by making her voice sound "cuter" back then. No wonder I've always been curious why her older clips has her making a different voice. She really went through a lot.

Same I actually found her around october of 2019 because her song "Tenkyuu, Suisei Wa Yoru Wo Mataide" got reccomended to be by youtube because I had always listened to a lot of utaites but It wasn't until early 2020 when I actually subscribed to her because it was then that I started getting hololive clips. It was also around that time 2019 that I first watched a hololive stream while doing homework for world history class, it was Haato playing DDLC too bad I can't find them anymore because I think those streams were deleted during the whole copyright incident when a bunch of talents' vods got wiped including suisei's cover of angelfish.

Man...i remember when the hololive main channel used to post monthly member's subs count community posts....fresh in my memory that around the time the scatman cover blew up (late 2018 i think/?) fubuki and sora were leading with 300-400k, matsuri at 200 i believe etc etc...then there is suisesi at 30k. I remember there were like bunch of comments in that one post that went "come on guys let's support suisei!" and so on so she could catch up with the others. It may sound painfully ironic, but if it wasn't for Rushia's clips I wouldn't had known about all the other Hololive members. It was a Rushia clip that I saw during 2018 (a few weeks before Holo EN's debut iirc) that started my deep dive into the Vtuber rabbit hole. Back then, I also saw some Suisei clips but I never really knew the story behind her journey. I thought she had always been Holo's most popular Vtubers cause, they even allowed her to do the Hoshimatic project. So when I saw depressed nousagi's video about her, I didn't expect all of the stuff she went through. I'm glad that she was able to continue as "Suisei", even though the management originally planned a redebut. And I sure am glad A-chan was there. Now, my oshis had been Fauna and Suisei for a while. So it IS ironic but my Vtuber journey started w/ Holo's problematic menhera.
