Suiseki stones have been in families in both China and Japan for many generations. I am glad you are reviving this art form with so many interesting stones in your collection.

Excellent content and very hypnotice and tranquil. It's not something that has ever captured my imagination but I do love interesting rocks. Great stuff again Andy

very thought provoking Andy. I loved the historical facts. The composition at the end....i feel like the rock on the bottom left.....felt lonely but beautiful too. 💚

I see you have watched the Wabi channel with the beautiful displays of their Suiseki. Very cool. You are a first to show your stones in such a simple and exquisite way. Bravo for your taking this on in a great video with a great opening. Now words can say how great this video is. Excellent in my book. Simply Superb!

Ingenious stand Andy ❤ I'm a massive fan of Penjing and Suiseki. They remind me of one of the late Sir Terry Pratchett books, where on his fictional Discworld the Time Monks carefully tend their Bonsai Mountains 😊 xx

Arr thanks Becki thats very kind of you to say, I love the way the way when you look at suiseki your mind takes you to another world. But never once does the every day person viewing it.! think to them selves this rock is billions of years old and taken millions more to be shaped, Very unappreciated hobby. Thanks for watching becki 👍👍👍

A lovely video Andy all the elements coming together to make a whole, I guess a lot of time and planning went into producing the video, all very artistlcally produced my friend. As has been said suiseki is an art form in itself originating from Japan, scholars collected them as a sort of status symbol . You have some very nice stones in your collection, I have one Suiseki collected from Death Valley in 1968 by Craig Coussins, it has its shaped stand and a soft lined box to keep it in, I have on show, I look at it often, it has two viewing sides both have a different character. Well done my friend that was one of the best videos on KZbin with a connection to bonsai.

Thanks Joe that is really kind of you to say mate. I’ll bet it’s a cool suiseki you have Joe and they mean all the more when you’ve found them yourself. Often overlooked in the bonsai shows I would imagine. Took me a while to find the appreciation for it. Thanks Joe 👊👊👊
