This is part two of the process where I discuss what's involved and how I came to work with glass as a medium in my career as a professional artist. The plan is to have the sculpture completed in time for Easter Sunday 2020 (next week!).
This sculpture will be made over the course of a week, during which time I'll aim to put a few videos out...this is part 2.

Hey James for the next time you can use kerosene on your cut and after you tap make one relief cut tap that then you use a blow torch around the circle and watch the glass separate on its on try it...

Это просто завораживающее зрелище . Так все хорошо получается . Я смотрела ролики , и шила апликацию , когда увидела твой ролик работу свою отложила и стала смотреть как ты работаешь . Как стеклорез ходит по кругу , как как правильно откалываются заготовки . Так всё чётко . Не то что у меня нитка возьмёт и закрутился . А ещё я пыталась вырезать стекло по прямой линии , и оно у меня ровно не откололось . Вот так .завтра обязательно посмотрю ещё одну твою работу сегодня уже поздно , утром рано вставать на работу . Успехов .

I can imagine this in the corner of a dimly lit room like a den or study. With a subtle L. E. D. In the base filling it with soft light from with in. Could even change colors if you like that kind of thing. But in my vision nothing to bright. Just want it to shine and light up all those cracks! Beautiful piece of work James!

As sunlight hits each broken surfaces it comes alive with so many of shades of green and aqua perfectly capturing the effect of cascading water. It is a work of art and you are a very rare talent.

Thanks Tammy. There are various things that can be used to bond glass. This particular adhesive is 'classified' I'm afraid. I hope you understand. It took years to figure out.

James Parker Sculpture The doctors here in the US say the numbers will be the guide. Grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, take out or drive through only, are all that’s really open. Can’t go to hospital unless you call first. I personally watch what’s going on in Italy. I can’t depend on China😶 When life as we knew it starts up, it’ll have to be gradual. Be safe🤗
