Thank you, would it be correct to say suit preference is used for suit contracts while attitude & current count are more relevant for NT?

I wouldn't put it that way. The main signal in NT or a suit is ATTITUDE. If a signal could be attitude then it is attitude. If an attitude signal would be useless (for example a singleton in dummy), then the signal could be Suit Preference or a Count signal
