I love this movie! Their relationship was so mesmerizing and beautiful. I especially love the scene where she’s asking for a travel pass and they touch foreheads and she tells him to be careful and he asked her if his life is precious to her and she says yes. That scene was so powerful and it showed me how much they had grown to love each other. And so it broke me when she mentions he died in the war at the end of the movie.😭😭😭💔

How much they love each other even their love cannot be in words. I hope that composer will write continuing the film that actually he did not die in the war and he was looking for her after the war. Did you know that the woman that wrote the Suite Francaise novel was Jewish,? She died in a concentration camp, her family found the novel decades later; imagine that, what a talented woman. I loved the movie, loved the music, in my mind I had a sequel that Bruno and Lucille found each other soon after the war ended :) and were together until they each died of old age

Ive watched this movie at least 4 times just loved it, such a shame the war had to split this couple up, loved bruno hes so handsome in his uniform, ive seen him in quite a few movies his first n ame is Matthias hes a belgium actor , very good acting by all and the music is breath taking makes you want to cry, i will buy the dvd as i love it that much.
