The problem with including "performance fabric" in suits is that it eliminates all the benefits of a fine suit. A well-made suit enhances a man's appearance by broadening the shoulders and narrowing the waist, achieved through the suit's canvas, drape, and fit. However, spandex suits lack these advantages. It is important to note that while this company's target market may be men who are unaware of these differences, purchasing one of these suits will not result in a flattering look. As a result, these men will miss out on experiencing the confidence boost and receiving compliments that come from wearing a quality garment. To summarize, these suits will contribute to the decline of suit appreciation. You are absolutely right; a man would be better off going to Suit Supply and investing the same amount of money for a significantly superior suit. Here's another issue, most of this performance fabric holds body odors. It will be interesting to see if you still like that shirt after a few weeks.

I completely agree with you regarding the drape of the suit and that was the main reason I disliked their stretch suits. On the other hand, if it makes men who are otherwise unaware of high quality fabrics more inclined to dress up, then I’m all for it! I will let you know how I get on with the shirt

Also performance fabrics are usually irrecyclable. So not that great for the environment

I would like to update you guys on the shirt! I have found it to be rather odor resistant. I was recently walking through town on a day of extreme humidity. I got near soaking wet, but to my surprise the shirt dried in minutes after I got inside. Unlike regular cotton dress shirts, the fabric did not stick to my back, and there was no remaining sweat odor. So, overall I am liking this shirt more and more

Personally, as a guy who's been working out for over 8 years now, it's impossible to find a good fit of the rack anywhere. When I went to State and Liberty I was shocked that the only alterations needed were on the length of the arms and pants. Other than that it looked like a MTM suit. Regarding the structure that a traditional wool suit provides, as an athlete guy I naturally have a very narrow waist and quite broad shoulders. So what structure I lack from the suite itself I have just from my natural body shape. I have never felt like a brand was created just for my needs as I did when I bought a suit from state and Liberty lol

You end up looking like a gorilla in these stretchy fabric shirts and suits because the fabric doesn't have a natural movement to it the way cotton or wool has so ever movement you make in them looks like the fabric is making a massive effort to move with you. It's just the nature of artificial fabrics, their movements tend to have that artificial movement to them.

They only sell one ‘fit’ which is meant to be as slim as possible to show off your form

I could definitely do the performance fabric shirts, but you cant beat a 100% wool suit. The performance suit doesnt look as professional as a wool suit. They both look good but you cant go wrong with a wool suit.

I prefer structure over comfort. But the correct size would be comfortable anyways.

I don't like polyester, makes me sweat and I live in Cancun. I only have cotton and linen.

The overlay of interview with shop tour was done perfectly. I'm a wool guy myself. The issue I find with a slim fit is that it can throw off the proportions when the jacket fits a rectangular frame but the skinny pants look like sticks at the bottom of a box. I think the skinny pant trend should be limited to casual wear. Another "sin" I see is when guys try to make the jacket too tight causing an hourglass of shirt to be shown rather than just the upper V of the shirt showing. Over all this marketing trend of "performance fabrics" on classical suits is what we call, "Lipstick on a pig". Meaning they are just trying to get you to accept cheaper fabrics than quality naturals.
