sukekiyo - 黝いヒステリア [eng sub] LIVE HD

Here's "aoguroi hysteria", meaning "bluish black hysteria". This performance is from their 2018 live "gyakushū no naburi jigoku" -shikkoku no gi-, which can be found on PASSIO. The song was requested by Kizaru and Renard Rusé some time ago, so I'm glad I finally got around to translate it. Enjoy!
Translation by me.
A few annotations for this one:
"I'm really insecure, and self-conscious too." - The language chosen here is quite girly, as well as polite.
"From your wrist, blemished in bluish black" - I chose "blemished" to stay less explicit than saying "bruised", since Kyo also uses a euphemism.
"It smells a little" - The kanji used here points to the smell being somewhat unpleasant (as opposed to a "scent" or "fragrance").
"Aren't you cheating?" - Please note that this refers to cheating in a game. Most often this is used to describe quickly picking what to use in rock-paper-scissors, after you've already seen what your opponent chose.
"I don't want to understand just now" - "Just now" as in, now that it's actually too late.
"Talking about rumors is what I love" - As you can see, Kyo split this line up between the English "good-bye with a smile" bits. In the written lyrics, it is one line which I would've simply translated as "I love gossip".
"Dependence is really scary, isn't it..." - In the written lyrics, what follows behind this is 笑, which is used in texting like "haha", "lol" etc..

I have too much love for you in my heart and no chance to release it 💜💜💜 Every translation of yours is a gift, but whenever I see a new sukekiyo translation my heart just makes funny stuff ^^'. Thank you so much Kaya~ Also your additional notes for this were so cool. I've been wondering about the 笑 in that line. I don't want to add to your workload but this made me think yet again on how often the translation of Kyo's lyrics depend on the context. You would often translate them different if you would 'just' read them, right? So I was wondering if you ever considered adding an additional translation of the poetry to the comment section or on some other webside? It's really not necessary since you already make all these connotations but I think it would be interesting and nice to them written out side by side with the sung version. I hope that wasn't too confusing or weird ^^' And I hope you are doing fine! Have a reall nice weekend~

Thank you, I'm really happy to hear you enjoy the sukekiyo translations so much! When there are differences or things to add like that, I usually mention them in the annotations, so right now I don't plan on posting additional text versions of all my translations. However, some of my translations are hosted on degwiki.com and those are all optimized as text translations. It's only those that don't have official translations, but even among those not ALL are by me (yet), so make sure to check if the source really links back to my channel or my videos. There are also some translations by me exclusive to the wiki, that aren't on my channel. Examples are 落ちた事のある空, 暁 (Demo2010), 幻覚の華 and AIR from Kyo's Masquerade days... Things like that.
