Hey, guys. I deleted my comment. I thought it was funny but it's only really funny in my head. I came back to read it and I said to myself "that's actually not funny at all" so I deleted it. I think Kenjaku's interest in Higoruma has more to do with the fact that he was the only one among the awakened sorcerers that actually seemed to have potential (until his fight with Takaba). I dont think he or Sukuna really cares all that much about him otherwise, beyond Sukuna's clear interest in the Executioners sword.

If you can't kill hakari in one shot he most likely beats whoever he faces. In terms of infinite curse energy hakari is on par or similar level to gojo but his RCT surpassed both gojo and sukuna (hakari is only like 17 mind u) so when gojo said hakari could surpass him one day I don't think it's to far of a stretch and yuta doubles down on that for me when he said if hakari gets fired up he's as strong as himself, hakari has room to grow for sure

Sukuna bringing out that cursed weapon was a genius move either way, he knew Higuruma was going to jump in at some point and due to his innate curiosity for Higuruma's domain as well as the executioner's sword he decided to bring a special grade cursed weapon into the domain itself, so that even if his CT (whether it was box or cleave/dismantle) was confiscated instead -- he still has a special grade weapon to rely on. Though I definitely believe that even he didn't know that the weapon itself would be confiscated and just wanted to see what would happen lmfao

I see couple possibilities: 1) Sukina tries to collect as much power as possible to face the Merger and Kenjaku. He's simply leveling up. 2) Sukina wants to kill Megumi for good??? Like, there's a tiny possibility that Megumi's soul is alive and that's why he had a reaction to Yuji's punches which can impact souls. Maybe the reason that guys didn't get sliced into pieces was Megumi. 3) It's suspicious that Gojo wasn't mentioned yet... 3a) Copium: Gojo comes back and surprises everyone which would give the heroes an edge. Because bringing any fighters back is the top priority. 3b) Gojo get's posessed by Kenjaku. I believe that leaving the strongest modern sorcerer, essentially "intact" - it's a magic world, his two halves are still there - is a mistake and if it inconveniences Sukuna, the story will be more balanced. 4) Kenjaku might posess Takaba - if Gege's goal is to raise the stakes to the heavens. Maybe the story ends with a new Golden Age of Sorcery. 5) What if there's a back up plan that we didn't hear about? What if the Confiscation is a pretty bonus to the idea of Yuji swapping with Megumi, so that Kusukabe could land a hit?

IMO Higuruma should still know about this possibility, especially when Sukuna knows about it and he has seen higurumas technique just once, and never how it interacts with cursed tools. Higuruma could very well have met somebody with a cursed tool so he should know about that possibility, or also at least consider it possible from the start since he knows his technique better than sukuna. At least he should know it better.

I think it was lazy writing for Sukuna's weapon to be taken away because we never knew what it did. Was it actually super OP and something everyone should be glad isn't available anymore? Was its only value in that it could preserve Sukuna's cursed technique in the case someone has curse technique confiscation? What value did these items add and how much of that was lost? I sure hope we find out, otherwise I feel fans have a legit reason to scream 'plot armor.'

Like imagine if takaba is a soul trapped by the merger and then it can expand its reach to the whole of japans existence potentially the world to "Evolve humanity" not just the world with the will of the merger only dependant on the will left behind by kenjaku's next of soul kin "Yuji"

What you said at the ending is so true. Sukuna does not see them as a threat. At least not yet. As for the slashes. Their curse reinforcement is probably significantly higher than it was a month ago. They have to get stronger, or they die instantly. Hakari was shown to he at least comparable to Kashimo and kashimo forced sukuka to transform because of a fatal attack. While they are not as strong as sukuna individually, many of these fighters are shown to be prodigies, especially Yuji and Higuruma. It would bot be an understatment to say that Yuji is alfeady most likely a special grade fighter. Hakari is as well, and so is maki, and even if they are not designated as that, they are on that level. It is likely that almost every character in the story has advanced significantly in the last month. As such, it is understandable in my opinion that they should at least be able to face sukunas basic cleaves or dismantles as we have to seen players like Ushigori tank mutipke from a sukuna not using his full force.

TBF, both sukuna and Gojo had massive asspulls in their fight, it wasnt only Gojo lol. Both of them constantly broke the previously established rules. It does seem silly that Sukunas cursed tool's CT would be confiscated. Higuruma, who is more intelligent and more educated about the technique, should know that this possibility exists. Makes no sense that Sukuna would know that and not higuruma who is the expert on his own domain and has seen its effects more often.

Yuji has no background Sakuna has no background Gojo has no family anybody's ever seen. Yuji defeating sakuna is preposterous but they seem to be trying to move it to that with all of this plot armor. I'm not a young manga reader so my standards are higher it's gotta make sense for me. A 15-year-old kid who just learned to use curse energy 6 months earlier is going to somehow defeat the 1000 year old king of curses yeah Aight 👍. That's why I couldn't stand bleach it had awesome characters an awesome concept but completely ridiculous writing. It has a lot of similarities to JJK.
