I've got another recommendation for you. Fullmetal alchemist/Fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood. FMA:B is the best anime I've seen (atleast so far). Fyi, fma and fma:B is the same, brotherhood isn't a sequel, only a re-create (kind of). Fullmetal alchemist starts by following the manga but has it's own story after a few episodes while brotherhood follows the manga. I personally prefered brotherhood but I'd recommend watching both!
