This chapter should really cement that Sukuna has not been trying this entire time, despite people still refusing to believe it. He legit blitzed Maki, grabbed her face and threw her outside before she even knew what was happening. Similar to how Toji did Megumi in Shibuya. Shows you how massive the gap is between them, just like the Megumi and Toji. He literally perception blitzed Maki, who’s whole thing is having superior eyes that can perceive opponents faster than her, and even changes in air molecules. Sukuna could’ve cleaved her face when he grabbed her and ended her, but he’s just enjoying the battle. He could have done this to ANYONE excluding Gojo.

I think the three clans were not there on haien era. Because sukuna faced a six eyes limitless for the first time I think . Except for blood manipulation ten shadows and limitless were unknown for him.. because he was surprised to see megumi summoning shikigami out of his shadows. Genuine idea what if they’ve got body doubled or their own vessels to come back to. Theirs been a crazy focus on TP’ing bodies out of the battle and generally is situations where they’re already near death. So what’s to stop them from using the their new souls knowledge to simply keep coming back In completely new bodies that they can then do a sukuna out of. Maybe make it so they don’t get genetic abilities so there’s no Gojo limitless. Or just make it so it was too late. But I think that would make sense as I really don’t see them winning anymore

Mahoraga could block sakunas cleave. He hits one away and send them both flying at the start of his fight against sakuna. This is most likely the cleave technique which is just one slash. I think seeing the slashes gives a chance to block or evade where not seeing them at all makes it impossible to block or evade

Yuta said that he was going to fight Mahoraga and the other Shinigami with Rika and clearly they are more than capable of taking them down from what Yuta has showcased in the recent chapters. And no, Sukuna at the time Yuta was about to jump in was already severely weakened and could not possibly no diff him. And NO, I can not possibly see how Yuta could be a "hindrance" to Gojo in any way. Just because Gege made that statement doesn't automatically mean it's absolutely true especially when not explained properly

@@tienluong9648 Gojo can't use Hollow Purple while Yuta is on the battlefield, which is his only way to defeat Mahoraga. Sukuna isn't going to let Yuta fight Mahoraga, Sukuna will fight Yuta while Mahoraga keeps adapting to Gojo as he doesn't need to worry about Purple anymore. You're also forgetting that if someone jumps in then Uraume will also jump in...

I think the narrative is showing that steadily, fight by fight, sukunas mentality is wrong as he is evidently deriving pleasure from others. He has not managed to strip himself free as he gives making credit for doing. He sees maki as example of what he wants to be but he is obviously not that guy.

I disagree, it's steadily being shown to us that sukuna is deluding himself. In this chapter he takes it upon himself to see what deserves polishing, the body or jujitsu. If his ideal that people are just food to play with was true then he wouldn't care about anything else. @sleepyking4558 that's true later on in yutas domain but when yuta first cast his domain it caught sukuna off guard (I think he was shown visibly shocked if I remember right) which forced him to keep using hollow wicker basket until he completely figured out the domain, kind of like how once gojo figured out he could release simple domain and rct his brain he didn't have to use simple domain again. I was making the point that sukuna did call gojo out for it but he ended up doing the same thing or (arguably) even more so.

There is a way to convey to story telling through your action, fight and why not that is compelling and i think the author is really missing the point. Actually, this feels more reminiscent of Madara vs Guy. The sage of the 6 paths power vs the 8th gate (gate of death) taijutsu. All power and knowledge of Madara vs the embodiment of the limits of physical strength of a shinobi, that is Guy. Rather than fighting I think Kusakabe and Sukuna will talk, notice how Sukuna is holding his chin while looking up at Kusakabe, that could mean he’s interested in Kusakabe for some reason. For what reason is the question, Sukuna can definitely tell that Kusakabe is scared and probably wants to know why he’s still forcing himself to fight the “King of Curses”, which will lead into a Kusakabe Flashback possibly further Introducing us into that Usami person. After the flashback we could possibly see Kusakabe struggle against Sukuna, then A Character probably comes back to intervene, Possibly another Maki and Yuji Vs Sukuna, or we Gojo could possibly comeback since its been established that Sukuna never went all out.

Anyway, it had its great arc (shibuya) just like every manga has its big selling arc (chuunin exam, soul society arc) etc but now the author really needs to wrap this up as quickly as possible because its really not a story anymore
