The binding vow for Sukuna to land the world cutting slash on Gojo despite having only one arm/hand after he was hit with hollow purple was that anytime after if he wanted to use the world cutting slash again he has to use the incantation, enmaten hand sign and point at the direction he was aiming it. 11:01 Sukuna's binding vow is explained in chapter Sukuna only needs Enmaten hand signs to perform World Slash, nothing else (No Chanting no hand direction) But Sukuna massively nerfed himself permanently by Binding Vow By using World slash 1 time without hand sign on Gojo now he has to do Enmaten Hand sign + Chanting + Hand direction to use World Slash It requires 3 hands to perform world slash now it's basically impossible for anyone but Sukuna

Now the only thing that needs to be explained is how did he use the World Slash on Yuta and Yuji because Yuta cut off one of his arms and Rika and Yuji were holding his other arms to keep him from using the hand signs. The only theory I have is that maybe Sukuna did another binding vow to allow him to use the World Slash but it was a weak version in exchange and because Yuji also weakend his Cursed Energy Output with his soul seizing punches that allowed Yuji and Yuta to survive it

It doesn’t require 3 hands. It’s never said it requires 3 hands. Using 3 hands just makes the hand sign and pointing into one step instead of 2, shortening the process. It can, and has been done with just 2 hands. This is literally proven at the end of the chapter. Larue notes that Sukuna ONLY has his top two arms left. His bottom right arm is healing. When Maki cuts off Sukuna’s left arm, Yuji says that Sukuna can’t make the hand sign for world chant with two right arms. Meaning before making cut off the left, Sukuna would be able to do it with his two top arms. The narrator also literally says “however, before transforming, when he had half his arms, Sukuna imposed a binding vow on the activation conditions so he could cut gojo” further implying that only two arms are necessary

Shi when this gets animated every episode is going to be a character getting clapped by sukuna for 12 episodes. I'd say the beginning of the episode the fight begins, mid way/ nearing the end we are hit with a flash back of the characters past then they fight one last time and get clapped, and the last 2 or so minutes of the episode would be the rising action of the next characters fight. Your entire interpretation of the binding vow is incorrect. Sukuna always has to make the hand sign, do the chant and aim with his palm for all future world cutting slashes because he lost an arm against Gojo, and made a binding vow to be able to do the world cutting slash once without doing the hand sign. It’s not really a problem for four arm Sukuna but currently it might be an issue. I also think this chapter was foreshadowing that Sukuna is about to get his domain expansion back with Miguel saying he won’t fight a Sukuna with one, which to me says he absolutely will.

The vow that he made should've made any "normal" sorcerer unable to use their special technique any longer. However, Sukuna's body is an anomaly. He just have to reincarnat into his og form to make a way around those binding vow. Dude is a genius hacker the same way Kenjaku just have to hop onto a new body to get away from the binding vow. This also makes Gojo performance in battle against Sukuna even better since he managed to forced him to use this kind of vow.

Even if Gojo saw Dismantle he thought his infinity would have prevented it from reaching him not knowing that expanded Dismantle can bypass it because he believed Mahoraga was Sukunas only way to get rid off his infinity. It's not that hard Gojo didn't know about the World bisecting Dismantle and that it can ignore his Infinity. To him it was a Dismantle that his infinity could have protect him from. Read chapter 234 again and look how suprised and off guard Gojo was when Mahoraga cut off his Arm its the same thing with Sukunas World Slash.

I find it odd that content creators haven’t caught on yet that the megumi retrieval arc has seemingly gone according to plan for the hero’s so far & clearly gojos part of the plan was specifically to remove sukunas domain, whilst forcing him to reveal his trump card. Given the context it would make sense why gojo would literally play into his disadvantages all fight, while sukuna wouldn’t go all out against gojo opting to use a binding vow instead of returning to his original body, since even if sukuna(og world cutting slash) did win a battle of attrition against gojo (black flash buffed), he wouldn’t be in a position to defend against the remaining cast as effectively as he has now. Sukuna not noticing uiui until recently was also a slight hint that sukuna isn’t in complete control of the situation despite his many victories

And we know the one against Maki was less of a he felt so challenged he locked in, rather more of a he felt a responsibility was put onto him. 10:40 it was to put up unrealistic requirements to use the technqiue i couldve phrased it better but i just woke up from a 10 hour nap so chill out he made a binding vow that would require him to need at least 2 hands to pull it it off at the time he couldnt do it regularly (only one requirement being using enma ten hand sign to be able to pull it off - meaning he could send it without having to point the direction it has to go in or say the chants) So he then made another binding vow to sacrifice the ease of use of the technique in the future forever Which then gave him extra requirements such as always chanting, pointing in the direction he wants the slash to go in and using the hand signs which then increased the requirements of 2 hands to at least 3 , which nobody has aside from Sukuna,Mahito and Drake This also means sukuna only increased his output against yuta to use regular dismantle at a proper output since even 15F sukuna is capable of negging yuta with one cleave

11:46 its the same context as hakari using a binding vow to survive kashimo. At the time of the binding vow it would have basically been as if sukuna couldn’t use world slash anymore. However he still had his free revive and gojo being his biggest threat it was a worthy sacrifice that wasn’t even a sacrifice in the end because he hadn’t grown his arms back. It was basically a skillful on the fly binding vow with a loophole. Gojo lost to skill and assumed he couldn’t be hit so he just stood there. Gojo over relied on infinity and lost because of it. He currently has cursed energy, 2 or 3 chapters ago when he was fighting maki sakunas helper there said his cursed energy output is based on the interest of his oppenents and he hasnt gone all out yet, gojo was the only one to come close to being a worthy opponent and hitting maki with the first black flash puts him 120% of his potential. Him hitting the second black flash and referencing gojos rct leads me to believe sakuna is either A. Going to get his rct back Or b. Get his domain expansion back since miguel said he didnt want to fight him with it Or some stuff is about to happen to him and thats why its cut off

You literally said you dont know what the binding vow is as the binding vow itself is on screen. Its just extra conditions on himself in order to use the slash. In exchange for being able to do the world slash vs gojo without the hand signs (because he only had one hand) he made a vow that would let him skip that step but now he has to do both hand signs and chants + direct the slash with his palms. Meaning he needs at least 3 hands to do the world cutting slash. At least thats what i got from it, maybe im trippin.

I wonder how Sukuna used the World Slash on Yuta because Yuji and Rika were holding two of his 4 arms to not allow him to use the enmaten hand sign while Yuta also cut off his third arm and damaged the second Mouth on his Stomach. He only had one arm so i wonder if he made a binding vow again to use it with one hand but in exchange it was a weaker version of the World Slash which is why Yuta and Yuji survived it and also because of Yuji weakening Sukunas Cursed energy output with his Soul Punches.

@@ta15235 the Gojo death made perfect sense to me. Gojo believed Mahoraga was the only card Sukuna had to bypass his infinity which is why he focused the entire time to destroy Mahoraga. He didn't know Sukuna learned Dismante that expand the techniques target which can bypass Infinity. In chapter 234 when Mahoraga cut off Gojos arm after his second adaptation to his Infinity Gojo looked suprised because he didn't saw that Slash coming from Mahoraga because he believed Mahoraga needs to have physical contact with him in order to neutralize his infinity not knowing about the second adaptation. Even if Gojo saw Sukuna attacking him he believed it was a Dismantle that his infinity could have protected him from not knowing that Dismantle can bisect the World. Sukuna also fired a Dismantle in chapter 224 and Gojo didn't even try to dodge it because his infinity would have protected him which is why Sukuna attacked that Building behind Gojo instead.

Now everyone thinks enhanced dismantle 😂 maybe it will all come together but really I don’t think he will explain things anymore. The problem I have is that Sukuna is unstoppable especially since for the last year we keep hearing he holding back. I’m not a writer and I hope I’m wrong but at this point if Sukuna don’t win the only way I see him losing is by BS. imo It wasn't a world slash (for Maki and Yuta), just a regular dismantle amped by chants like gojo did for red and blue. I think he only used it 3 times (Gojo, Kashimo and Higuruma)

Yuta probably didn’t get hit with the world cutting dismantle. Yes we saw the chants but Sukuna couldn’t do hand signs(cuz Rika held his other arm). “But didn’t Sukuna point at Yuta?” Yes he did, but Sukuna has aimed his normal dismantles/cleaves before so that alone isn’t enough. Again, this is just a “probably”. If Yuta comes back to the fight, then i predict it’s cuz he only got hit with an amped dismantle. Like how Gojo had to amp his red

The only people who think Sukuna hasn’t been nerfed since fighting Kashimo are Yuta glazers and Kashimo’s downplayers. If KUSAKABE is tanking dismantles and cleaves while Kashimo “wasn’t killed by strong cleave” as these people try to lie about then Sukuna is blatantly weaker and has been getting weakened since Yuji pulled up with Higuruma and the gang.

Brah... it's not just the prospect of winning that's getting worse and worse with each chapter. I know you rock with Gege, but you can't pretend that the writing is turning into . At this point, it just feels like a lot of indecisiveness mixed with some fan service here and there. I don't even try to read it no more. At this point the merge just needs to go through, with Sukuna first in line to fight whatever results from it. Have the surviving cast forced to back up Sukuna against an overwhelming entity gives a means by which Sukuna can actually die fulfilled without it seeming like an ass-pull AND a potential win condition for everyone else. Beyond ressurecting Gojo I really don't see where else the story can go.
