The scene is heavy. When Suleiman ordered everyone out of the room, the impression was that he had once again realised the strength and support he had received from Hürrem. In my opinion, all the female relatives are hoping for Mustafa, and are just waiting for a change of power. In this system the concubines hav no power and cudnt even think of 'talking back to a Queen 'forget beating or killing . Plus all kids of the King were kept alive in case one son died the next son wud take d throne ..and all others wud stay in various palaces, get stipends every month and wud take up other posts . Unlike the Solomon empire where all d brothers were killed by one brother to ensure he ruled without any interruptions.

I swear Gulfem and Mahidevran are the dumbest sultanas I have ever seen. 1.Gulfem has no power, and she follows Hatice,Sah and Mahidevran like a maid🤣. 2. The stupid Mahidevran, instead of keeping Mustafa from being blamed by the Sultan, she brought him and 2 other sultanas into her personal problems. and also instead of keeping Mustafa's name clean of accusations because he is in the capital as a mother instead of helping to take care of his children she takes care of unimportant things , she and the 2 sultanas who always create chaos lead or bring Mustafa into the abyss 😐. 3.
