I wish they would've explored this angle more with Cihangir and his parents and the love they had for their son, the concern they indeed had about his health and not the made up relationship/fascination with Mustafa the writers for some odd reason felt compelled to give us.

@@Sky-tv4wb Honestly, it seems that the show leaned hard into the popularized legends of the time rather than the actual history in it's final season. Cihangir was, after all, as much an advisor to his father as Mihrimah was, being largely considered as one of the most educated of şehzades. Out of all his brothers, Mustafa would have been the most unlikely for him to have formed a bond with, given that by the time he was born, his half-brother would have been stationed in his sanjak for years. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but it continues to make me sigh.
