I am a professional singer and met him last year ( he has a residence out here in Palm Springs, Ca.). I asked him what song did he wanted me to sing to him and he requested, Somewhere Over The Rainbow. He's a real nice man.

I would have requested Cher's "I Paralyze". It was a flop song - chart-wise . But it's a GREAT song - one of Cher's BEST !! It was written by the guy who wrote most of the songs for Grease as well as Olivia Newton John's hits on "Totally Hot" in 1979.

My mother used to make clothes and costumes for us when we were little...never having to use patterns, she could measure us and make her own patterns. I used to sew from patterns only, and pattern- inspired, hand- and machine-sewn clothing done well look sooo much better than off-the-rack just in the drape and detail if you use good material. But i used to get so frustrated in trying to make things perfect, it took the fun out of it a lot of times for me and finally gave up. I was a busy working mom who just didnt have the patience for it I guess.
