What I don't like in the story is killing brother to brother because of power.. Then later mother killing her son because of power..

But Ahmed I first abolished it by not killing Mustafa but Osman II brought it back by murdering Mehmet. But later Ibrahim's Haseki Turham Sultan completely put an end to it by letting her step sons live.

She's responsible for the death of Osman. She started the riot by saying to stop Osman from the expedition to create a new Army against yeniceri the Yeniceri started the riot which results in the end of Osman and the begining of the era of Shehzada Mustafa
