My fav from Sultan is Irisoir! I am excited for these ones:) Sometimes I find attars are not easy to wear for myself but I have high hopes for these (oh and I love orris butter so yeah it's definitely among my most fav notes too:)) Aldehydes can be challenging for sure but oh man I love them so I am super intriegued

Nikhil, some thing I want to say. So happy to have found you and your channel. My journey started recently with loban and camphor. I am slowly learning and developing interest in this field. Every time I watch a video, there is uncontrollable desire to buy something, thanks to materialistic consumer mindset. But I also know the value of patience. Even best attars take time to create and more time to reveal their beauties when you use them. So I watch couple of your videos everyday (must not finish all of them), I think about what you say in your videos, ruminate on it and take my time to understand things while fighting the desire to buy immediately. So far so good. Once I am convinced I know some of the basics of this beautiful world, then I will make my first purchase. I really appreciate your soothing, calm voice and open minded nature. That does talk a lot about your personality. You seem like someone who is at peace and nobody can take your happiness from you. Best wishes to be like that for life. Thanks for sharing this with us.

It is true, your passion is understandable. Once one experiences good attars, normal perfumes (niche or otherwise) just don't matter mucn any more. Even I am now almost exclusively pursuing attars. Shukriya, Nikhil bhai!

Nikhil I wish more than anything to reach your level of exquisite enjoyment and deep appreciation of our earthly senses and sensitivity in connection with fragrances. And I am a beginner from the west but listening to your description of attars I am sure this will be the direction I take in 2020. I bought from Elixar Attar the Kalevala Attar and Arabian. Very small samples but I was intoxicated and captured like never before. Thank you and I wish you the fullest beauty of life.

Thank you for your wonderful and informative videos! What are your thoughts on the Xerjoff ouds (i don't know if you have ever smelled them)? I own Warda al Oud and thinking of buying another one. I went through these two in my sample set but somehow they did not register with me. I think its like Ame Sombre, it takes some time for you to make friends with it. I think I know what you mean by the ammonia gardenia smell. I'm not a big fan of that note although I can see why some like it.
