They will also be having their final race in Abu Dhabi alongside F1 this weekend! I remember your F1 Academy segment earlier where y’all picked drivers which was great to see! Would love to see some more of that with the season wrapping up and the championship title now decided, would love to hear updates and your reactions to that league as well!

The story that I heard is that a few very famous mechanics of the day were regularly flown in initially to get work done on the cars n were paid extremely well. Eventually the family lost interest in maintaining the cars n chose to send select cars over to mainland europe for maintenance since the Sultan had a couple properties all over. Some of these cars were kept in the UK n in Europe to be used when the family is visiting. The collection further went to shite after the Sultan suddenly cut down on his lavish spending and most of the older cars ended up just beginning to rot away. Luckily a few dozen cars do get offloaded every few years n get bought up by high value collectors even before they reach the public. The RHD CLK GTR Roadster, the 456 station wagon n sedan that reached the UK are a few such examples. Some of the very special cars still do get serviced n maintained such as the McLaren F1 GT from the collection that was spotted in the UK last year. Supposedly the family is now open to offload more cars for the right price.

@seanphillips-FedSmk I meant to say that the family or their representatives don't state prices. Instead, you're expected to make an offer for the car you're interested in. They do however mostly trade well over the market values because of the history, extremely low or delivery mileage etc. From what I read, most card that changed hands were examples that were in a really good condition or restored/serviced before being put up in the market n not sold as "as-is" conditions.

The most wanted lyvery was put OVER the original gtr skin and you can still see it if you look closely. This car was not made based in the one from the game from scratch. They did it on the cheap.

I wish someone would able to sell some of the Sultan's collection that are viable to actions or back to their manufacturers or send some of the images or what remains of some to whoever or to the manufacturers to restore some of them and maybe put them on display in museums or to random customers to take better care of them, so yeah

Long term make V8s 5.0s, Hemis and LS and make nascar have 800+ Hp and F1 needs v8, v10 and v12, manufacturers make the same cookie cutter bs interior is a big flat screen and Evs on the outside are so generic the only cool thing about them is 0-60 but who cares I’d rather have my 66 mustang (will be making 400+hp) but even if it made stock power from the factory with a stock 289 v8 I would be 100x happier with that 0-60 then a ev
