As always-wonderful video :-* I only wish Mihrimah was in it as well. She's my favourite ☺ But I see you wanted to put only those sultanas who were wives and mothers of the sultans and she was neither. Perhaps that's why I like her so much,among other reasons. She was the exception in this period,not a rule. And she remained as such in the entire Ottoman history. That's why she's so fascinating to me 😊

In fact, she was supposed to be in this video. She was one of the most powerful Imperial Princesses. After Suleiman died and Selim ascended the throne, Mihrimah was given the title of Valide Sutlan by Selim himself. She is part of the Sultante of Women and I see many videos that dont include her.

Hyrem is the most powerfull because she is the first queen and she lived in most powerful age in ottoman history. russians and turks knews her power .Nobody didnt know the kösem before tv program kösem ,when kösem ruling to empire is not powerfull so much and europa has began to dominant. Im a turkısh so trust me everybody knows hyrem in our country .

Efe Erkal You're Turkish and you don't know it should be Hürrem,not Hyrem? Hyrem looks like written by a Russian or Ukrainian. Historians say that Hurrem or rather Roxelana is better known in Western Europe(as it's Hurrem's nickname,given by Western ambassadors or poets),Kösem is better known in Turkey. Kösem was more powerful,but in chaotic times and with sultans not as great and powerful as Suleiman. Hurrem wasn't even a Valide Sultan,let alone a regent,but she was very powerful wife of a very powerful sultan,who broke several customs for her.
