No matter what you feel about each side, you can’t deny that this siege came with amazing quotes from both leaders. What they say is up to debate, but we can fill in the blanks without twisting history.

Fun fact. Achillies and Patroclus were in fact Not lovers. In the original story they were both raised by his mother and grew up as brothers. In the original story there was no sexuality in their relationship because they saw each other as brothers. Fact. Another fun fact is that the only thing about Alexander and Hephaestions relationship, and it's an assumption, as to the nature of their relationship being homosexual is that there's mention in the story that no one could beat Alexander in a contest except Hephaestions thighs. There is a thing called Greco wrestling and they were trained in it from a young age and this is likely a reference to that. There's only one other passage in the history of his life that could elude to an attraction to other men and that is he watched a dance performed by a eunuch named Boagoas or something and the passage states Alexander kissed him for his performance. That's it. This is where everyone gets the idea that he was so attracted to men. Boagoas was one of Darius unuchs and as a consequence of conquest he inherited his harem which is how he came to know Boagoas apparently. There's also the instance where Alexander massacred the sacred band of thebes to make and example out of them He wasnt gay or bisexual or even heterosexual in any modern sense. Sexuality was completely different in the classical period. I think it's more important to have a look at the man himself and the adversity he overcame. Rather than be so obsessed with what he did and who he did it with in his own privacy. If you find yourself obsessed with what other people do to get their rocks off I find it to be primitive and sick headed.

Imagine an empire that both fought the Roman Empire and participated in World War I. Meanwhile, the Crusaders, England, France, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Mamluks, the Persians, the Russians, the Timurid Empire, Venice, Spain and even the United States of America.(It is also the only war that the United States has lost and agreed to pay war taxes for.) The Ottoman Empire was definitely the greatest empire that ever came to this world after the Roman Empire.

I imagine this Harley being the daughter of Ledger’s Joker, cause not every Joker is suited to be good lovers[except for Jack Napier ‘Nicholas’ Joker or Leto’s Joker] or be a match with/or for Harley Quinn.(well, Jared’s Joker is pretty good for Harley) Either way, really cool video!

I think you guys kinda overestimate how good Mehmed II actually was he was born into an empire larger than any other around it where as Constantine was born into a decaying city state with inferior technology

Nobody liked the Ottomans. They only enslaved people and left nothing to the global civilization. Turkey is a state today just because the Western powers don't want an Orthodox Christian pact in the East of Europe. Russia+Romania+Greece+Serbia a.o... Putin has rebuilt what the anti-Russian, anti-Christian Bolsheviks demolished.

The decline of Constantinople was due to the Roman Catholics who robbed the center of the world and left the Byzantine Empire alone, but again the Byzantine Empire was strong The west is the cause of bleeding, in most cases it is not so strong

Their love story remind me poetry of Po I was a child and she was a child, In this kingdom by the sea, But we loved with a love that was more than love- I and my Annabel Lee- With a love that the wingèd seraphs of Heaven Coveted her and me. True love never dies. I believe that if you truly love, then somewhere over the horizon at the end of your life you will meet again, and nothing will separate two loving souls.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I don't support such kind of "love". They are basically codependent partners, rather than friends, or lovers. They literally cannot live without each other, if one dies, the other also dies. According to the science of psychiatry, t's a mental condition which is not normal. It's normal that one partner may die before the other, the surviving partner is supposed to grieve, then move on. If they cannot move on & end up destroying themselves, it should not be glorified in the name of "eternal love", but should be treated as a case needing psychiatric help!
