He is the first makeup artist to explain color matching with all the bronzer, blush, contour etc (going a little lighter) vs no major color products, natural. I find that incredibly helpful. Even powder can deepen a shade of foundation and concealer substantially.

@@hungvanngodo you leave the skin still damp and tacky after prepping the skin to allow for the makeup to blend better or does it just look that way when makeup artists work on someone because of the lights? I ask because I always blend skincare and primers completely in so my skin isn’t dewy and still damp if you will when I begin applying my makeup, but again, it always looks like you and other MUA start on a somewhat slippy skin because of providing so much skincare prior to. It could just be the lights that make it look that way though. Thanks in advance.

We makeup enthusiasts are so lucky to have these videos. I especially learned something new with this- use a lighter foundation shade than your own if you’re contouring and bronzing since those steps darken the look, thereby leaving the neck too light.

Some may heart everything without reading or comment for the first hour after it uploads to help their channel engagement with the algorithm, but you genuinely answer and want to help us and that says a great deal about you when you are so well known like you are and still so humble and helpful.❤ When is it ok to use a facial oil prior to applying makeup? I love the slip it gives and the blend, but I’m always told to avoid facial oils because it’ll break down the makeup causing separation, patchiness, pilling and other issues.

Those shadows shades he chose for her were unusual but so gorgeous and I never thought to put such a light barely there shimmer under the lower lash line like he did, but that made a big difference making her eyes pop. You always see them going in with really dark browns and warm tones- never a cold tone like that for the whole eye look too. It is absolutely gorgeous and make me wanna use those cold tones more that I typically avoid, thinking it would look off. This is one of my favorite eye looks/combo I’ve ever seen.
