Sulu Homecoming Part 2 ... Tour of Patikul, Indanan, Parang and Maimbung

Day tour of the municipalities of Patikul, Indanan, Parang and Maimbung.
I would have stayed long in the National Museum of Sulu in Patikul and learn about Sulu's history, culture and heritage. Looking at the old photographs on the wall makes me wonder what life was in the past during the reign of the Sultanate.
There are several mountains on the island of Jolo. We went to Bud Datu viewdeck in Indanan where you can see the towns of Jolo, Patikul, Indanan.
The beach in Parang was breathtaking and a preview of the numerous scenic beach of Sulu. For my father, nothing compares to the beach of his hometown and I understand him now. Sulu is blessed with the best beaches.
I admire the craftsmanship of the women weavers of Parang. The long work hours on the loom, the intricate designs of the Pis Syabit, a heitage of the Tausug.
Maimbung poblacion is uncrowded, a town with a seaport, Tambuang falls, and the stunning Masjid Bunai.
