To the people who are confused as to how the sense-strand is translated aswell: From what I know scientists extract the complementary sense-strand and just insert it into the antisense-strand, so that when the antisense-strand is translated by RNA-Polymerase, both complementary strands are translated into the same RNA-Strand, causing it to fold onto itself forming a Double-Helix, or Short Hairpin RNA. (That's also why that RNA cannot be transcribed further, as it has formed that RNA-RNA-Complex, but he said that in the video)

Great job, but to echo a previous comment RNA pol codes uses the antisense strand of DNA to synthesize mRNA

Is it more resistant to mechanical damage? I think the reason why this transgenic variety (Flavr Savr) wasn't a commercial success was due to damage it recieved while using conventional harvesting & packaging technology.

The person talking does well with scientific terms in english just saying cause it didn't sound like his first language was in english and it takes work becoming fluent in other languages.
