The ancient Egyptians believed that the heart recorded all of the good and bad deeds of a person’s life, and was needed for judgment in the afterlife. After a person died, the heart was weighed against the feather of Maat (goddess of truth and justice) The scales were watched by Anubis (the jackal-headed god of embalming) and the results recorded by Thoth (the ibis-headed god of writing). If a person had led a decent life, the heart balanced with the feather and the person was rendered worthy to live forever in paradise with Osiris.

I’ve written 1000’s of songs in my head having the notes to be played by every person who was playing an instrument for this song. But I have no lyrics. Anyway I went off on a tangent. @@OkapiHerder it's tough to tell if they actually are plain black hoodies. To shoot in the desert, you have to wait until the sun starts to set. And in order to prevent being blinded by the light (which, in that area, would be intensely bright at dusk), they had to have the sun to their backs. Due to said light, they're mostly silhouettes, which washes away any details on their clothing. So even if there was anything on them, it would be almost impossible to see any details. And, finally, they likely wore hoodies due to the 30 to 40 degree (F) temperature drop that can occur.

Damnnnn! I'm sure it was a closed shoot anyway but I absolutely would've killed to see you all record this at White Sands. I lived 15 minutes away from there in the middle of nowhere for just under 2 years.

That solo and synth breakdown towards the end, had me fucking reeling! Phenomenal job! I can always feel the emotion and passion from everyone but there is something truly special about both guitar players.

*I love this song, the breakdowns on the drums are brutal. But Nick Rossi's guitar melody is so fucking addictive.* ❤🖤

@@NickRossiMusic I’ve been paying attention to you since the first city in the sea singles my dude. I’m so proud of where you have become. I know you weren’t really a fan of me but your legacy has been a big influence on what I’m working now. Keep being badass my dude! 🙂

FINALLY! Long time fan of BoO and I know things change, bands mature, and I cannot wait for this to drop! Seriously. Going to be an honor to cover another BoO record. This reminds me a bit of a combination of the Simulation and Soul Sphere!

not enough credit is given to BOO also being metal fashion icons. I've noticed they are very real to themselves and that confidence shows in the music and their appearance. well done my dudes, best of luck with future endeavors

Wow!! This blew my mind, the guitars are just out of control. Lee you’ve always been amazing but you seem to pair even better with the new guy. This is better than the discovery material, white nile was epic asf also, can’t wait for the album!!

I swear to god, this intro is something so mesmerizing, yet it hits so hard. ❤️ Also, that double bass part that goes “diggita-da-diggita” is SO GROOVY.
