To anyone with harsh opinions saying they sound like another band or sold out or got lame or something, take this into consideration: Plot is all Landon (unless this very recently changed) and the members just help perform his music live. His solo stuff is very very diverse. Landon's music always has significant meaning of some kind beyond just being angry, etc. and the music reflects that meaning, so it makes sense Plot's sound would change as Landon changes. So I'm hopeful that people recognize his writing, how well done all his work is, and know this is true evolution and representation of new states of mind/feelings. Not just trying to cater to a certain crowd to make more money.

ButteredScones vids Seriously man. Landon is extremely diverse with how he writes and people can come here expecting another CYWYCB or HISD, but those albums were written at a specific point in his life. First being extreme anger and then in HISD he was dealing with sobriety and self-hatred. This is probably the first album where he was 100% sober the whole writing process and this will show in his work! I'm hyped for it. I don't care if it doesn't have a single heavy song. I'm here for Landon and his music and to see his progression as an artist. Because that's what I love with TPIY. Each album is different and I love them all for their own reasons.

ButteredScones vids Probably the best description of TPIY I've seen. Landon is a fucking story teller, and doesn't put on a front like it's fake or he's telling someone else's story. There's happiness in his past self destruction and extreme growth over time. Their entire vibe is changing, I'm beyond stoked for what's next. But I feel this hits the newer HISD fans easier due to the soft rock vibe. I understand FB and CYWYCB fans not appreciating it as much, I do, but it's just change and that can be threatening to people. TPIY is inspirational in the way they've changed and grown as individuals. I'm happy he's sober, because this is nice. Real fucking nice.

James Bell false landon has been the one and only vocalist for TPIY, he left before their eyes in 2010 to work full time on his side project vessels which was renamed The plot in you when they signed to rise records. So either your friend is a liar or you are.... 🤔

Landon is crazy talented, you just have to listen to any of his solo stuff to realise how much talent and work he puts into his music. Just listen to anything off Ai640, he made that all by himself and its one of the best metalcore solo projects of all time in my opinion.
