One of the things that always grasps something within me is Remingtons' eyes. You can see so much but there's something deeper you feel. Not many people in this world have eyes like that. Its haunting, a longing, a loneliness but also fierce that keeps fighting. You really feel an untame energy, rebellious but needing warmth. There's also an understanding, that connection that helps you not feel like your going through it alone. Cliche' but I can best put it as a Rebellious Angel, there's danger and pain, a storm, a wild animal, yet you feel safe. I'm rambling, in every music video, art choice, everything, there's so much soul. There's something magical about Palaye Royale, thank you for everything.

Remingtons voice has a incredible power to it. It makes you fall in love with Palaye Royale and there fabulous family that surrounds them. Broken showed everyone that they are listening to greatness it’s chilling, haunting and breath taking. Remington was amazing and so convincing the pain he showed in the video was raw and heartbreaking. After hearing broken it has me desperately waiting for there new album Fever Dream. One of the things I really love about Payale Royale music videos is how everything is symbolic and ties to the original song itself. The burnt rose may symbolize dying or burnt-out love (since the rose ties with romance or love) I guess. Also the church as the setting is reasonable since people tend to turn to religion or God (or any deity) whenever they're in a very vulnerable state of their life (the girlfriend praying in the church may indicate attempt to try to stay together despite the growing distance). Also with Remington turning into ashes at the end of the MV (referring to the quote "rising from ashes") may indicate death or defeat...I mean near the end of the video, it seemed that he and his girlfriend broke up no matter how much they try to stay together despite progressively growing distant from each other.

I just got out of a very bad relationship and found this video a little late (after its release I mean). I'm just now starting to get into this band, ironically because the person I just broke up with introduced me to them and their new stuff has caught my attention and held it, and this is exactly what I needed to help me deal with the fallout from that bad relationship. It's a masterfully done video with beautiful contrast and a heart-rending message that I actually really needed right now. The lines "You say I'm not worth it to you/So why are you worth it to me?" in particular resonated with me because that was how I felt the entire time I was in that relationship. I’ve said this many many of times before but I’ll say it again; palaye has gone so far in their success as musicians and artists. Remi Seb and Em are so deserving of all the love, success and happiness that comes their way. One of the many things that make each of them stand out is that all 3 of them are beautiful humans inside and out, they have the kindest and gentlest souls ever and they go above and beyond for the royal council family; they take time out of their day to make sure everyone feels understood, loved, valid and safe. They’ve been my family for 7 years and they always will be family. They gave me a home that I can always come home to x Broken is truly a masterpiece of art, it ripped my heart open and made me feel all the emotions and the lyrics, I was In a severely mentally abusive and absent relationship and he only cared about getting his next fix to get high and also endured very toxic mentally abusive family members. It took years to recover but I also have days where where I get in my head and it becomes a very dark place and I often find myself looking for approval in a dark place or not. I know I’m not alone I’m feeling this way. Broken has a special spot in my heart right next to lonely x
