This song is so empowering for me. I have been through hell and back the past two years. I lost my husband to suicide and Lost all but one of my grandparents, all within the same year. Me and my kids had to move back in with my parents and I've had to start over again at the age of 30. Its put me in a pretty dark place ..I feel so guilty. I'm heartbroken and empty. But I keep pushing forward for my kids. And because I know I'm strong enough to get through this.

The "disappearence" of Satan is simply the work of the Enlightened who pushed reason and science to fight against magic. And nowadays, almost nobody believes in magic and in Satan. 1. Refreshing & new concept on a religious themed song, 2. Pushing instrumentation in a different direction while still being Bad Omens 3. Very high energy vocals & instrumentation 4. Still retains a unique song structure like all of their songs. Stating that this sounds the same as previous things is literally declaring that Bad Omens sounds like Bad Omens. Stating that they sound like Bring Me is one of the least insightful comments possible. Obviously many bands within a same genre can sound like each other, but there's something to be said for bands who do it well, Bad Omens being a band that does it very well. I'd argue Wage War does nothing to innovate the genre but does an amazing job at what they do, hence myself and everyone else loves them. I'd also argue that Bad Omens actually innovates at a more reasonable pace than Bring Me did, though I love Bring Me to death. I think a pop-shift would provoke more backlash than progressively and slowly evolving a sound like they're doing here. Finally, small logo comments also have nothing to say about the quality of music or stem from a proper understanding of a situation that only Bad Omens and Amity understand. The song's amazing, can't wait for the future album.

Agreed, but saying this song structure is unique is just wrong haha Intro Verse 1 Chorus 1 Verse 2 Chorus 2 Breakdown / bridge Chorus 3 w drum variation + previous verse overlay Breakdown ending w/ earlier breakdown line again It's basically the same song structure as 90% of top 40 music, as well as a lot of modern metalcore. But I'm not saying the song's bad at all, it's a classic song structure for a reason c:

Poorly collected comments? Bud, almost every one of their songs, all I can hear is a rhythm that BMTH came out with BEFORE Bad Omens released their album. It's not hard to figure out that Bad Omens gets a lot of "inspiration", ie blantant plagiarism from BMTH.

I didn't really pay a whole lot of attention after hearing a song or two and thinking it wasn't my kind of metal. But then I watched this video and the song...holy fuck this song... it makes me feel the same way I did back in the 90's when I first heard Blitzspeer (you'll have to look those guys up) and the first time I heard Strike of the Beast by Exodus in the 80's. No, not the same sounding bands as Bad Omens, but the FEELZ I got from that first listen... just WOW. This song is FUCKING AWESOME. These are not just simple songs. Not just music. This is something much more ancient. Especially this song and Dethrone, but the whole Finding God and Bad Omens, too. I don't know what they took, but they touched something really deep. (And not in the spiritual sense. :) Deep like familiar, deep like irresistible, deep like truth. This is my anger. This is my pain. This is me. Somewhere in the deep people have the same roots. We collectively remember to all the sins what the universe has done against us. No they are not BMTH and yes they have their own unique sound... one of the best they ever put out btw!

Agreed so much. They are one of my favourite band! And I have a reaction suggest to you MetalBreakdown! I think you will love any of Calibans song😃
@mmattheussiqueira6 жыл бұрын
But they do have strong bmth influences, as well as other artists that influence both the bands. You just can't listen to bad omens and not remember bmth and vice versa

@@zoardkozelka5367 Yeah I need to do some Caliban for sure. They have been requested a lot and I never listened to them!

@@mmattheussiqueira Yeah there is a difference between influences and a copy of something! A lot of people are like : I love the new BMTH song, they are influenced by them and it shows in the music but to say they sound juste like BMTH, no. They have their own identity and I think they sound like Bad Omen and not BMTH (which I love as well by the way).
